Welcoming and Friendly Staff!

The staff was so friendly and welcoming! We were able to communicate easily despite that Spanish was not our first language. Our room was very clean and the design was so quaint--it felt like home! It was a really nice stay after a long drive in from Chile.

Amazing place to stay in San Martin

If you are looking for an affordable, super clean, very well localized place to stay in San Martin de los Andes, definitely Hostal del Esquiador is a place to stay. The room is super clean (they have and excellent room service, changing towels and soaps/shampoo everyday, make the bad and turn on the heating for after-mountain), has a LCD tv and a small refrigerator/freezer. Breakfast has everything you need: not fancy but super good (medias lunas, bread, cakes, cereals, juice, dulce de leche, etc). They can arrange the airport’s transfer for a very reasonable price (taxi is 900 ARS and the transfer was 300 ARS) and the transfer to the Cerro Chapelco. Everything that I asked to the reception/adm was promptly provided and people (I think is a family running the business) were incredibly nice and always in a great mood (very rare to Argentinian :o). I return to SMLA almost every winter and definitely it a place to search for the next times. Well done, Hostal and Hotels.com!

Wonderful hotel!

We spent 3.5 days in San Martin following a fly fishing excursion. The hotel was perfect for what we needed. Lorraine at the front desk was fabulous! So helpful and she had wonderful recommendations. The breakfasts were great with fresh pastries and egg/bacon if you wanted. The rooms are slightly dated, but they are CLEAN and the bed were comfortable. You are just a few blocks from the lake or the downtown shopping area.

Pousada boa com banheiro terrivel

É uma pousada aconchegante, a duas quadras da rua principal onde se encontram vários restaurantes. Ponto positivo para quem viaja de carro, possuem um pequeno estacionamento. O café da manha foi o mesmo nos quatro dias de hospedagem. Ponto muito negativo, o banheiro é muito pequeno, quando falo muito não exagero, é muito pequeno mesmo, sou magro e me senti incomodado, não tem espaço para tomar banho, após um dia de passeio ou esquiando entrar naquele banheiro era a pior coisa do mundo. Em uma das arrumações deixamos uma caixa com 3 alfajor`s na bancada e quando voltamos só tinham 2, preferimos não reclamar, mas se pegam um chocolate não confio no restante.
