Very small rooms. Shower flooded out of cubicle. Alarm, lack of battery intermittent noise was very disturbing inside one of the two rooms and nobody was able to locate and turn it off. We had to suffer this noise all night. Next day another alarm (low battery) from the ground floor was continuously on. Internet connection not working and it took a couple of hours for someone to come and repair and come again and repair again. Breakfast location is like eating within an igloo, totally unprepared for San Miguel de Allende’s temperature conditions. Even their staff are dressed for extreme cold weather. Hotel staff very nice but unable to solve daily problems therefore making your stay unpleasant. El Recinto offered to compensate me with a free night in the future but, I will never come back. No value for money, not a place to stay or enjoy your holidays. Avoid.
