Clean room, very very good location, atmosphere was excellent, staff was very friendly. The only thing is that the cathedral bell's start to sound really early, so you may get an early wake up alarm.

Pros: Excellent location, fantastic service from staff, and balcony view was magical. Cons: very limited WiFi, shower water took 10-15 to warm up (lots of water waste), iron provided was very old and did not function properly. Ideally there would also be a mini fridge.

The hotel was beautiful, but I did not have an ounce of sleep at night due to the building making noises such as loud banging even tho it was 1 am 2 am and there was not construction going on this happened every 15 minutes if it wasn’t for that it would have gotten a 10/10, staff was amazing! Maybe it was just the room we stayed at but that’s my experience

The location is what makes this hotel fantastic, you cannot beat being right in the center of the action. However, the hotel lacked atmosphere, where others in the city had a bar or rooftop, this location shut down after 9pm. There was no coffee or tea service in the room, we struggled to get constant hot water and the room was cramped (could not open closet door because of bedside table). The staff were very helpful (Maria) and the rooms were very clean.

It is a tale of two hotels. First we stayed in a wonderful and charming room with AC in the front hotel and loved it (10/10). Then we stayed in a charmless ACless room in the built out back hotel which had inconsistent hot water and because we had to have the windows open we heard all the noise and smelt cigarette smoke from the courtyard (5/10). The restaurant made great breakfasts and the staff and nice (10/10).

Three night stay.

Nice room including ceiling fan and a tower fan. Just a few steps away from the Jardin, so the location was perfect. Great value for the price, and super friendly staff.
