Hotel is somewhat noisy during the day due to an on-site restaurant. Made it hard to take a siesta in the hot afternoon. Location is very close to central square however, traffic is constant on the street. Online pictures made the room look batter than it is.

The location was just a very short walk to the Jardin (main square) and was still pretty quiet due to the way the rooms are situated. I was on the second floor. This is a much older building so there are some interesting older things like total concrete, so you can’t hear the next room!! The ceiling in my room was low,, but that was good, because then I could “deal” better with the occasional crawling thing or two! Overall, the room was very comfortable and the shower was wonderful!

Excellent location

This hotel is in a very good location, the price is very good and it’s very clean. If I’m the owner, I will change the colour, from outside the rooms, it’s a very strong red.

Good location, no-frills

Bed was comfortable and room was clean, except for the small couch which should be replaced. Our room was up a long staircase, but the staff helped carry luggage for us. Could not get a coffee before 8:30am when cafe/bar opened. Very well located.

Terrible check in & no help from hotels.com

Terrible check in. I did appreciate that they let me check in 2 hours earlier than their check in time when all I wanted to was to drop off my luggage. However, they insisted that I had not paid for the stay when I had made full payment on hotels.com over 2 weeks earlier. So I had to make another payment at a higher rate to get a room. After 2 cases, 3 chats with hotels.com over 3.5 days still issue is unresolved. Most likely have to initiate a charge back to get their attention.

Great spot for couples to stay close to the center. My wife and I will stay again. Note to futer stayers. This place meets basic needs for the stay. Dont expect anything more. Its like staying at a friend's house. I repeat perfect stay. Staff were great!

Great location! Everything is close by. I gave it an excellent rating but would like to offer two suggestions. Softer bed needed and the light on the A/C should be covered (too bright). Other than that it was perfect. The restaurant in the hotel was great and the staff was super friendly.

Excellent location. Our room was spacious and met our needs. There was a problem with our room reservation on check in. The manager was responsive in finding a solution the next day. The only thing missing was a safety deposit box in our room. I would recommend Hotel 49 Mesones and look forward to staying here again.
