The hotel was really stylish with the mid-century theme. Our room was top floor with very narrow stairs and bit hard to carry the heavy suitcase up. But the area was quite and walking distance to everything.
Staffs were very polite, friendly and helpful.
I would definitely return. This property is lush with plants and art, a lovely courtyard oasis, secluded from the street. The property is also steps away from the beautiful Parque Juarez. Just be mindful that they maintain a strict no refund policy.
Everything in SMA is expensive, this property was a good value for location. Rooms are not fancy, but are kept up. Common spaces are beautiful and the park right across the street was amazing. Location is nicely removed from noisy streets, but close enough to walk to the hot spots in town.
Excellent location and price ! Very Mexican cozy beautiful plants every where . The only thing we would have liked was a bathroom door , the design lead it to not have one because it was separate from sleeping area yet it would have made our stay more comfortable , even a curtain door .
I arrived early and was told my room wasn’t ready so I assumed it was being cleaned. I waited in the patio for 3 hours until my room was finally available. I left my things and went out. Following morning I get up to shower to to my absolute disgust, I find a dead roach in the shower. Safe to say the room wasn’t being cleaned and they made me wait for whatever ridiculous reason. I’ll never go back.
This hotel was great, however we were locked out after attending a wedding due to the security guard locking himself out. We were promised a refund for the night and haven’t received it after almost a month… I hate to leave a poor review, but having to wait two hours on the road just to get into the hotel was not ideal, and not receiving a response from the telephone/ whatsapp number we were given to contact the hotel isn’t okay. I had hoped to leave a better review if the refund was processed as promised. It was a lovely little hotel aside from this, but I would like to hear back from the hotel soon, please!
We booked a suite on Expedia and they told us the only room left was a tiny small studio. I believe they don't accurately update their availability and often overcharge and leave people stuck when you arrive late at night and then have to walk for hours around town looking for a hotel with vacancy. - We had to walk with our tired infant for 2 hours. Then Mansion del Bosque wouldn't refund our booking. It's been a battle. Amazing how poor service can really damper the start to a holiday.
La ubicación es excelente ya que está en la calle más fotografiada de San Miguel de Allende, cerca hay de todo. La decoración del hotel es muy bonita, personal amable.
