EXCELLENT!! Seriously, SO good. The staff were very friendly. The property was beautifully decorated in a classical style, ornate mirrors, nice old prints etc. Breakfast was excellent with lots of different choices. Excellent gym on the 11th floor, very nice pool area. Hotel is $6 uber ride from the Centro Historico which was my area of interest. I'm back there next week before I go home. For the price this hotel is OUTSTANDING!

This was my first visit to El Salvador. Originally, I planned to stay four days split between two different hotels, but I was advised to stay in the Zona Rosa area since it is easy to drive anywhere from there. Based on that recommendation, I booked this hotel, although I had to make two separate reservations. On my last night, I was asked to change rooms, and I still did not fully understand why. This was a bit frustrating because I had to wake up very early to pack my belongings, and in the process I forgot my phone charger in the previous room. When I returned tired later in the day, I found that the air conditioning and the refrigerator in the new room were not working. At that point I was exhausted and frustrated, so I may have been a bit demanding at the front desk. I also had to go back several times because the room key kept failing and had to be reprogrammed. The hotel does not offer valet parking, so if you are not used to parking in small spaces, this can be challenging, especially at night when there are fewer available spots. That said, I want to highlight the effort made by the staff. They successfully recovered my charger and quickly sent maintenance to fix the air conditioning and the refrigerator. The hotel is very clean, and the staff is attentive and professional. Breakfast is served on the 9th floor, and they also offer light food in the evening, although the variety is limited.
