Casa Urkola is a tourist apartment in the centre of San Sebastian, located in one of its most unique buildings, designed between 1921 and 1924 by the architect Francisco Urcola Lazcanotegui, author of the Victoria Eugenia Theatre and a key figure in shaping the urban profile of the romantic area of Donostia. Its unmistakable style, elegant, proportionate and discreetly ornamented, is recognised in every corner of this property.



Located on the sixth floor, the apartment receives extraordinary light throughout the day. The building has a lift, although its entrance, characteristic of historic buildings, has eight access steps.



Inside, the dwelling unfolds a spacious living-dining room with a fully equipped open kitchen and access to the impressive L-shaped balcony, a privileged viewpoint that embraces the home and offers a panoramic view over the romantic area of San Sebastian's centre and the Urumea River. The apartment has two complete bathrooms, both equipped with spacious showers. It also has three bedrooms: the main one, with two single beds (90x200) and an en-suite bathroom; and the other two, with two single beds (90x200) and a double bed (160x200), both with direct access to the balcony.

The walls alternate stucco finishes with solid oak-clad fronts. The custom-made wardrobes and doors, also made of solid oak, provide an exceptional sense of solidity and warmth.



On the outside, the L-shaped balcony allows you to enjoy a unique perspective: on one side, the bell tower of the Good Shepherd Cathedral; on the other, the serenity of the Urumea. Each facade offers a cosy set of a small table and two chairs.
