Sanary-sur-Mer, 13 km from Toulon and 49 km from Marseille, with its authentic typical Mediterranean fishing port, its pedestrian streets lined with small shops, its good restaurants and its pretty squares cooled by fountains, is a tourist town renowned, both relaxing and lively, where you will be sure to have a good holiday whatever the season!
It offers a huge variety of colorful landscapes and natural sandy beaches (Portissol, Plage Dorée, La Gorguette, Bonnegr Grâce, Beaucours, etc.) in a sunny setting most of the year. Many activities are available to you: sailing, scuba diving, tennis, climbing, hiking, fishing, cinema, gambling casino… not to mention the inevitable sunbathing and sea bathing!
The city, whose market was voted "most beautiful market in France" in 2018, offers you the best of local products as well as fresh fish from the fishermen and fresh flowers every morning on the port. In summer you can also enjoy a pretty night market, very lively and offering artisan products.
Many sea excursions leave from the port to discover marine animals (whales, sperm whales, dolphins…) but also the natural beauty of the islands (Porquerolles, Les Embiez, Bendor) and the Calanques de Cassis!
