I was delighted with my stay. Yet I suggest that it's clearly mentioned to guests, that it's high up a hill. My body has copd lung disease, it would have been good to know about the hill. Best wishes to all of the staff.
The wi-fi in room 105 was intermittent
Steep steps to property entrance and a heavy door to push open. Very dangerous for older people.

Staff very welcoming, breakfast very good apart from burnt toast. Rooms are quite tired. Windows need replacing as ours did not close, so had to change rooms. Bathrooms retiled, but paintwork on doors and skirtings need cleaning and re-painting. Price was reasonable .

Our dog was made welcome. Had to change room, due to a maintenance issue. But nothing was too much for the staff. Got a cup of tea each as too early for check-in (bad weather why we were early). Staff were fantastic.
Me and my partner upgraded to a better room but unfortunately we were woken by dogs barking through the night and early hours of Sunday morning, so was not very impressed with that, otherwise the room was nice and clean and comfortable, we had a breakfast which was very nice and a good choice of things to have.
There was no information whatsoever in our room i.e. Dining Times or contact numbers . I was taken ill overnight and into the whole of next day , tried to obtain Doctor via 111 but gave up . A member of Cleaning staff , , was very helpful , gave us number for Reception and Ferry Company . Reported to Reception being ill but male person offered no help . I managed to bring forward Ferry to next day hoping I would be able to drive . Luckily I felt able to attempt journey home . We struggled with our cases and discovered a Lift that we had not been told about ! I reported to the female receptionist that we felt neglected and she had an entry on a large notepad recording me being unwell and to check on us . Despite this and also never appearing for breakfast or dinner we had paid for , no one contacted us . Very poor management .
Booked this hotel May stayed here years ago and wanted to take my parents back. It's a little dated but could not fault the breakfast or entertainment. Sally on reception is a credit to the hotel she was so friendly and helpful. Places are walkable about 10-15 mins to the beach and local bars. Would return

The building is a little tired but the room was comfortable and clean. Staff were at all times friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Parking can be a problem at busy times with only 3 disabled spaces.

Room was fine. Reception incredibly RUDE and unhelpful. Not a good start to our stay .
Nice grounds and a lovely breakfast, the room was tidied and the coffee milk and sugar replaced. I had a lovely stay and the island has loads of attractions. Cheers

Loved the property. Disappointed on returning to room on 2nd day to find it had not been tidied, no clean mugs, no coffee sachets or milk sachets. Asked at reception to be told could have coffee but no milk. Receptionist stated in the middle of something on screen could find some milk in about half an hour and bring to room.
When I called at reception there was a note to say back in 10 minutes so obviously wasn’t in the middle of something. It really spoilt our stay
Loved the old fashioned feel to the building, the grounds are lovely, its next to a small park area, which I found great for a little 4 mile run! Hotel is 5 mins walk from the seafront and a few minutes from nearest train station.
