This hotel is very dated. There is no elevator. So you have to carry your luggage upstairs. The first room we were given it smelled so bad like cigarettes smoke. After insisting on a new room it wasn't much better. The clerk was rude and not helpful. First she said she didn't have a another room but after we insisted she found one. But first she went up to room to check if we were lying. Why would we? Then she said it smells musty not cigarettes smell. Wrong. It smelled like a used ash tray. Secondly the hotel claims to handicap accessible. Which it is not. No automatic doors and second floor is up many steep stairs.The pool is in the parking lot is very small and dirty. The breakfast is just ok. I would not recommend the hotel. The beds are so small also two people can barely fit.

Get new beds!

Bed needed to be replaced long ago. Springs popped out the side of the mattress. The only thing that saved our stay...we take a topper with us and we only stayed one night.

Very firm mattress

Staff was nice, room was clean, breakfast was nice. My only complaint is about the beds. The mattresses were extremely firm, no one in my family (ages 12-59) got any rest.

Room was located at the rear of the building. Little to no lighting back there. Door was propped open upon arrival, with access directly out to the parking area. Had to enter and hope there wasn’t anyone in the room that shouldn’t be there. Later found out that it was propped open because the door card reader didn’t work. Overall an okay stay outside of the door/security issue upon arrival. Nothing fancy, but at least it was clean.

I booked without realizing there was no elevator or gym, so that is on me. We were here for Cedar Point so didn’t spend a ton of time at the hotel. Overall, the facility was clean, the staff were friendly, the room was nice and cold and we enjoyed our stay. We took advantage of the washer and dryer on site but we didn’t use the pool but it did look refreshing and there were always people using it so it must have been clean as well. We would stay here again. The lake view right across the street was nice!

Upon reading some of the negative reviews of this hotel I was little sceptical, however, when we arrived I was very pleasantly pleased. The facility was clean and the staff was very welcoming. The exterior was just a tad outdated but was certainly clean and taken care of. 10/10 would definitely recommend and will be back to stay again. Very convenient for the Jet express and just a short drive to cedar point. Keep up the good work.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very pet freindly and thw rooms are very spacious. The breakfast was decent also Staff was very pleasant and helpfull.
