1-10. The only reason it’s 1 because I can’t do 0. It was pretty much 4 walls, a ceiling, a locked door and a bed. There is NO way all of these reviews are real! Beyond that, all of there photos posted must be really old or specific rooms that they take pictures of; there was no hot water, the toilet was broken, a inch gap under the door, fine laying of dust, dirt, and hair around the whole room, and the carpet made our socks black, the tub was so stained and the toilet seat was only attached by 1 screw on top. The sheets were stained with what looked like blood. As advertised as a no smoke room, but we were punched in the face with the smell of smoke as soon as we walked in, smelling worse then the hallway. The front desk receptionist could not care less and rolled her eyes at us. We stayed 1 night when we had the hotel for 2 nights because we had no other option, and had to get a different hotel for another night. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

This place needed updating badly. Had a king size room with only one bath towel. Lights in the room were scary. No USB plugs.

No frills, but also not clean

We just needed a place to take a shower and lay our heads for the night. The reviews led me to believe this was an affordable, no frills, but clean option. I agree with the no frills - to the point that there was only a sheet and thin blanket, no coverlet on the beds, no towels in the room, no soap, no toilet paper, and no trash can. 😔 We were able to get towels and toilet paper from the gentleman at the front desk who was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, I cannot agree with the cleanliness - there were a multitude of marks on the walls and box springs, stains on the mattress and box springs, and remnants of dust and hair behind the bathroom door and in all the corners. It was cheap, but I still don’t think we got what we paid for. The door also left me a little concerned for security. I would not have stayed here without my husband. I don’t think we will try this place again.

You get what you pay for

The king bedroom was pretty good to stay and sleep. The only problem was, there's no electric outlet in the bathroom or by the night stand. The double bed room needs a little cleaning and the room had a smell in the air. There's no garbage can in the room, so we just use groceries bag. The bathroom had no toliet tissue holder. The bed was hard. My cots probably more comfortable than the double bed.

Room 247

The beds felt like we were sleeping on box springs not mattresses. The air conditioner looked as if it had been punched out but still worked. The door only locked with the handle lock. The dead bolt was broken and the extra lock was also broken. Slept with a chair against the door as a warning if someone started to open the door. Room 247 needs some work.

Overall the hotel was ok. I was nervous since I was traveling by myself. The towels were stained, which didn’t give a good impression. The sheets were clean and actually smelled and felt good. The bed looked very old and well worn but it wasn’t too bad. I actually slept well and it was pretty quiet even though there was a lot of people walking around when I got there. I would possibly consider staying there again.

Great hotel close to cedar point! Love the tiki huts and pool,staff is wonderful! They’ve renovated most of the rooms. A lot of the rooms have roku TVs which is great so we can watch Tubi tv. Great no frills hotel old but clean. Lots of character and close to everything. Stay here every time we go to cedar point.

Not a hilton but perfect for my family

Friendly, helpful staff. Can't beat the price! Kids loved the pool and the fact that it was open a little later than most 🙂 Yummy donuts and breakfast so close was also a plus. Had a great stay! I travel from a couple hrs away and frequent cedar point with my kids and am glad I found this little gem, will be back again for sure!

I walked in and the front desk lady immediately started to talk about how a bunch of crack heads pay for rooms there..? Very scary and weird. She would complain that people would come to the office with complaints that she was inconvenienced by. When we booked a room. We were under the impression that we would be getting the “suite”. We didn’t. The room we got was gross. The bed was sunk in, the walls were dirty, our feet were black just from walking on the floors. The rooms had poor lighting and a hardly working Tv with terrible WiFi…and the bathroom had a small shower head that didn’t even fit me! (I’m 5’3!). everything was in disrepair and gross/stained. Staying in the room was scary. The pool always had men sitting around it just staring at you when you walked around, and even during the night. It made me worry about break ins because the door was only locked by a key card fob and a chain link! And the key card failed multiple times! Beware if you’re a traveling female with children !

Dirtest, Nastiest, Trashiest.

This was awful absolutely awful. I walked to the room not even inside the room and the first thing I noticed was the terrible smoking smell coming from the ac unit. Smelt like someone took a dump in the unit itself. Walked in and found kids sheets. Torn, frayed, stained, and everything in between. I thought it couldn’t be worse just an uncomfortable sleep. There was mold remover sitting on the table. Singular table with nothing on it but mold remover. That did it for me. Looked around and found trash, wrappers, and dirt all over the floor. Didn’t take my shoes off was very very concerned about my health if I slept there. Mind you this is all within 10 minutes. I checked in at 11:45 I have the time stamp on my phone of when I pulled in, I went to the front desk to ask for a refund. The guy told me I had 30 minutes to make any changes. I was then told that I missed the 30 minute mark when I tried to get my refund. I wasn’t in the room for more than 20 minutes and went straight to the front desk. If you have the option of sleeping outside in your car or sleeping here, choose the car.
