Alpine Hut in Murau near Ski Slope

This rustic alpine hut for a maximum of 8 people is located in Sankt Lorenzen ob Murau in Styria, at 1600 meters in a small forest in the middle of the Frauenalpe hiking and touring ski area in the Murtal holiday region. This alpine hut offers a cozy living room with a pellet stove, an open fireplace and a tiled stove, a small kitchen, a bathroom and on the first floor 2 large bedrooms (one with an extra sofa bed, one with an extra stackable bed). Access to the alpine hut is possible from Murau in summer, first via an asphalt road, then via a gravel/meadow path to the alpine hut. This path is blocked by a barrier, the key is handed over upon arrival. In winter you need about 10 minutes on foot (from the parking lot of the serviced Murauer Hütte in Murau). When you arrive, someone will accompany you for the initial briefing and explanation of how to use the alpine hut. The Frauenalpe is located in the Styrian part of the Gurktal Alps, is the local mountain of the district capital Murau and, as a natural snow mecca, captivates ski tourers and snowshoe hikers. In winter, ski tours are possible directly from the hut. In St. Lorenzen ob Murau there is particularly the Kreischberg ski area with 43 kilometers of slopes and 12 lifts. This ski area is 0.6 km from the center of Murau. In addition to hiking and biking tours, the 8-kilometer-long panoramic road along beautiful viewpoints is one of the summer tips. In summer, the Badesee Krakaudorf leisure complex offers lots of swimming fun! Directly in Murau there are plenty of shopping opportunities for your daily needs as well as a good selection of restaurants. A security deposit of EUR 165,00 will be required closer to your check-in date. You will receive a separate communication with the payment link. The security deposit ensures a smooth stay and covers any additional services such as cleaning, service charges, consumption, damages or any additional charges incurred during stay. Any balance from the deposit will be refunded within 21 days after checkout.
