I asked for room away from fwy and ended up with one facing the freeway which made for noisy night. Cold and only one thin blanket. Bed uncomfortable with outdated mattress Desk lamp didn’t work. Not enough outlets to charge devices Courtyard looks nice and a room facing that seems a much better choice

This was a perfect weekend to visit our daughter at school a little out of the way of Santa Barbara, but we loved exploring Carpinteria. Easy to get to the hotel was charming and the staff at the sunset bar and Grill on site and pleasant and accommodating, with excellent restaurant and touristy recommendations. We will definitely return.

Beautiful courtyard. Handy having a restaurant on location. Friendly staff. However, the room we had was in need of renovation. The furniture was terrible. Bathroom was good, but no hair dryer, great shower head.
