We have stayed here before so we did not expect too much. However this time our room had a terrible smell and was dirty. There was black mold in the bathroom and outside by the sink area. The little fridge froze everything. The toilet was running and the shower kept dripping, it could not be turned off all the way. Since it was a busy weekend in Santa Barbara/Goleta area we paid $400 for 1 night. And to top it off the pool that was closed last time we stayed here for renovations, was 'Out of Order', and the employees had no idea why and could not figure it out. Very disappointing experience.

Good breakfast and friendly staff. Room was a little dated but decent. Bathroom and shower were clean. Bathroom sink was outside, so we didn't have to wait to brush and get ready when others were taking a shower.

Love the property and would have given it a 5-star, but 1) the room key initially did not open our hotel entry door so I had to walk back, up-down the stairs, to the front desk for a new card key 2) when we opened the hotel room fridge it filled the room with a sour smell (cleanming agent?) ansd 3) although only a 2-story building older folks like us may still need an elevator. Besides that, we had a great stay, and the surrounding garden landscaping was very nice!

The water pressure was very low and the water was luke warm. We thought that for $200 plus a day our room would be cleaned,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,nope, no one ever entered our room to clean or replace the towels etc. The grounds are nice and the rooms are ok but for that kind of money you would think that they would clean the room daily

Great option near UCSB and airport

All fine very decent buffet breakfast that gets very crowded on weekends. A ton of single use plastic and disposable forks etc in use. Rooms simple but functional and a good bed. I had never had a request to not have housekeeping so that was different! A bit of room noise next door. And sadly a pool and hot tub issue left it closed on our final day. Helpful staff, good gym. Walkable to Trader Joe’s and restaurants if you don’t have a car, and super close to the airport!
