The staff were very nice… they did what they could. but for the cost of this room… I could not say it was worth it. I had cockroaches… a young man came in and sprayed in my room… fortunately I had the wherewithal to open the doors and windows so I was not so badly exposed to the chemicals. I saw a cockroach a second time but that was the day before I left… so I did not say anything. The room looked like an old cinder block build, with a thin coating of a stucco like substance. There was no microwave in the room The television was a just pay streaming apps. The bed was ok… the bathroom/shower was one step above motel 6 The plumbing in the sink was horrible… 3 times the water trap under the bathroom sink would suddenly drain out… and the room would fill with sewer gasses… that was so bad… not to mention unhealthy. The restaurant was nothing special… I was told they have great hamburgers. So I ordered one…. the bun was over toasted… actually the top was burned. And the meat was totally dry and rather tasteless. For the price of this motel… thats a rip off. I dont care if that’s what the rest of the motels are doing… I’m ashamed to say I live in Santa Barbara and to see there is nothing but greed. Oh and by the way… as I said the staff was very nice! but the motel…. I gave one star too many.

The staff was so friendly and helpful, the room was clean, spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Easy parking and staff helped with microwaving needs in the kitchen which was much appreciated. Overall great experience at an affordable price.

Bathroom shower had mold stains on the ceiling, the room had a huge furniture scratch and you can here the traffic from this room which was unfortunate because I needed rest for a business meeting the next day.

The hotel is very nice, comfortable, and well-located. The room was great and the reception was good. The only discomfort occurred with the restaurant receptionist, who was rude when we asked about the possibility of having dinner without a prior reservation. He shouldn't be working with the public if he treats guests this way.
