Not bad but a bit overpriced for what you get

Staff were very friendly!!! The lobby was kept very clean and stocked on light refreshments. The room was cozy, but the walls were thin. You could literally hear people chatting from next door (although muffled) and you can feel people walking. The room was mostly clean, but I did find a few hairs in the bathroom, a stain on the toilet, and some broken plastic piece hanging from behind the bathroom mirror. The motel is within walking distance to the beach and a short 5-10min walk to State St, where all the restaurants are. I love that this place is dog friendly and the rooms did not smell!

We really love this motel. The rooms have been cleverly designed to maximize guest comfort: spacious bedside tables with many plug-ins and bedside lights, well designed bathroom with open shelves, soft towels, luxury vinyl plank flooring, comfy beds. The location is fantastic, walkable to the beach, restaurants, etc. Also appreciated being able to park in front of our room. Finally, the free breakfast is a nice touch with filtered water available for most of the day/evening. This is our third year saying here and will be back next year.

Not our first stay here and won't be the last. Great location, and comfortable updated room. There are some great restaurants in walking distance as well as Stearns Wharf. See you next time Marina Beach Motel

I love this little motor court, vintage vibe but completely modern property a block from the beach. The staff is so nice! A nice little breakfast, and we can take our dog. We’ve been a few times and plan on making it our Santa Barbara hotel.
