Svendsgaard's is an extremely old property. It needs a major overhaul and brand new carpets inside and out of rooms. There were some small cockroaches in our unit. The place was clean so I need to give them props for that.

The location is great. The room is clean. Wi-Fi didn't work, reception said when the place has a lot of rooms booked, the network gets overwhelmed.

The people were lovely and very friendly. The room itself could use a bit of a refresh, the carpets while clean were very stained and everything looked a bit tired. I noticed some of the rooms were updated and they looked lovely. The hallway carpets could use an update as they were ripped, faded and bear in some spots. The pool was really clean and the plants were very nice. For the total cost of $600+ for two nights, the hotel did not warrant that price.

I was very dissapointed in the fact that the rooms we ot were very far from eac other and I was never told this. This was supposed to be a family trip and we ad to walk across the premisis. It was a lott of money, and very inconvenient.

Perfect place to sleep. We were busy and out most of the day and night, so didn’t check out the pool. It’s safe, clean and was surprisingly quiet at night for such a busy weekend.

The hotel was the start of the town. Very convenient. The room was NOT so good. The two sitting chairs were dirty on the back rest. And very smart room. Had to walk through a little Hall to get to a room. Also the bed was not so good. Comfortable but we both end up in the middle of the bed. We both woke up in the middle of the night to move to the edge of the bed, but we end up back in the middle of the bed.

it is an older property in need of upgrades. However the location is excellent within easy walking distance of dinning and the village.

The hotel is clean. Amenities is great. Theres a microwave and small refrigeraror. Very close to downtown Solvang. Lots of places to shop. The staffs are great i.e. friendly. Accomodations was great.
