This newly renovated Paradise Retreats cottage is located in Santa Barbara’s carefree West Beach neighborhood. It’s filled with small bungalows and boutique hotels that are just steps from the beach, Stearns Wharf, State Street, Funk Zone, and the Harbor. The Brewhouse, Toma, Jeannine's Bakery and Chad’s restaurants frequented by locals, and Amtrak station are all close by making the walkability that much better for this Santa Barbara beach rental.

Open the door into a stylish vaulted Living Room that gives way to a newly renovated Kitchen. Giant tri-fold doors easily condense providing an indoor/outdoor living experience with the dual Kitchen bar, added dining space, and BBQ grill on the private deck. Luxurious linens in both bedrooms are only rivaled by original Gregory Beeman paintings, specifically commissioned for this property.

Fantastic rental close to town and beach

Oh we loved this place. Has a great Southern California vibe. Starting with check in which was easy to reading the carefully crafted instructions available our trip was off to a good start. Street parking was easy but we also made good use of the garage. The bikes were great for morning rides along the beach path. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and the Toto toilet and rain shower were awesome. Providing robes was just another of the many thoughtful touches that made staying here a joy. Nice and quiet at night. Close to the beach….and walkable to State street and the Funk Zone meant that we had several relaxing days to just explore on foot. We made several day trips as well but always enjoyed coming back to this oasis. Kitchen is well stocked…I can’t think of one thing we need that was not provided. We all agreed that we hope to stay here next year.

Perfect in every way!

This home is perfect for a visit to Santa Barbara. It’s so centrally located that we never really needed our car. The home itself is beautifully-decorated, has a great little kitchen and super-comfy beds and linens. We had a little trouble upon arrival getting WiFi access but the on duty property manager was able to get on online in just a few minutes. Such great customer service! We loved walking to the beach, funk zone and nearby restaurants. And, we had a blast renting jet skis from the marina that was within walking distance. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous cottage with high tech surprises

We went here for our daughter's spring break, and it was perfect. So close to the beach, and walking distance to great restaurants and shops. The cottage was comfortable, and the high tech appliances much appreciated, compared to other places I've stayed where everything is of a "budget" quality. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return again. I highly recommend. My only caution is to note the street cleaning days, as your car will get ticketed if you leave it on the street.

Amazing place by the beach!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Steps away from the beach, dedicated parking, well decorated and felt like an oasis (especially with the outdoor patio), and close to many restaurants/easy walk to the Funk Zone. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice Little House

This was a great little place for my friend and I to stay for 3 nights. The location is great. The house is nice and clean. The chairs in the living room are not so comfy but we spent most of our time out and about. The bedrooms were very nice and the bathroom had all the space we needed for our toiletries. The closing instructions are confusing, the sign they have in the house is not accurate and my instructions talked about a lock box which we never found. There were no keys to the house just the key pad and no garage door opener (you use a key to open and close) and no one answered the phone at the service to answer my questions so we just winged it. I would absolutely rent this house again. I was a treat staying here.

As Good As It Looks

This property is perfect for a couple or small family looking to stay close to everything but to also have a quiet place to spend time alone. It's comfortably and adequately furnished and supplied with the kitchen items you need. The welcome bottle of wine was a nice touch even though we didn't drink it. The bed was very comfortable, along with all the other furniture. The communication was also perfect, we had zero issues our entire stay. There are many great restaurants close by and the pier and beach are just a few steps away. If we make it back to Santa Barbara we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. My only caution is that anyone with a vehicle larger than an average size sedan will struggle to fit into the shared garage, which is the only available parking for the property that I'm aware of. They may have another option for larger vehicles that I'm not aware of, but if you're driving something bigger like a Tahoe or even a minivan, make sure to inquire about parking.

We enjoyed staying here, but I will say that communication was a little annoying because the property is managed by a company that had their own communication and a separate app I had to download with separate emails to get the code to enter. That being said, it was an adorable place in a great location.
