A weekend getaway

We came out for a short weekend Trip. Celebrating our 10 year anniversary. We had fun at the casino and the walking path was just what we needed to unwind from the everyday norm. Came all the way from Highlands Ranch CO. We love coming to New Mexico

Our TV and phone weren’t working called front desk on my cell phone said it was the weather probably and told me to turn off tv and turn back on and move slowly thru the channels we got 3 channels. The bathroom needed to be cleaned better found hair on and around the sink

The rooms need some tlc. From the 70’s avocado green bed spreads to the lights that don’t work. I had a shower head that shot water across the room. I notified the front desk and the maintenance person went to the room and replaced the shower head with one that was equally as crappy as the first. Then they left their dirty boot prints on the edges of my bathtub without cleaning them off. I sat on the end of the bed and basically popped a wheelie. The head of the bed went up & I went down off the end. It was windy and lots of leaves blew in thru the exit doors but weren’t cleaned up in a timely fashion. The bathroom didn’t have any heat of ventilation fan for the shower. The shower was a bit narrow and kept clinging to me as I showered, it was cold. Perhaps a curved shower rod would be nice. Back in the day this place might have been a great place. But now it needs repairs and an upgrade. There used to be a small cafe in the hotel but that’s gone so now you have to go somewhere else to get some food. Inconvenient to say the least. The shower water was soo soft that it was borderline slime. A shower mat would be nice too so people don’t slip & fall in the tub.
