Hotel was fresh and modern, clean and everything worked well. The staff at the front desk was my concern. Upon arrival on Friday night the young man working the front desk was lounging in a chair, his clothes were dirty and needed to be washed. On Saturday morning the front desk was indicated to be open at 7:00. At 7:10 I had to ring the bell a few times and eventually the attendant came to the door. It was clear that I had woken him up. For all the money spent on the remodel it is unfortunate that the front desk staff do not put the hotel in a good light.

The air conditioning works well. They offer soft drinks and coffee at reception, but they don't have water. We bought some at a small shop next to the hotel. The only drawback was the noise of someone pacing nonstop all night in the room above ours.

This hotel is newly renovated with some cool new mirrors that have the lighting around the edges. They are very nice but illuminate a lot of light at night while off. There is also lighting around the bed so when you step out the light comes on, this is very nice but it is very bright if you need to get up in the middle of the night. The bed is very comfortable and the bedding is also very nice. We slept well. I gave the hotel 3 stars due to the filthy bathroom. There was hair in the shower and all over the floor not to mention dirt that was in the groves of the floor. It wasn’t just a little but all over the floor. I didn’t notice it until I was taking a shower before going to bed. It was so bad I put towels down to walk on so I wouldn’t get my feet dirty before crawling into bed after my shower. When I let the front desk know the next morning so housekeeping could be aware, he just looked at me and said nothing.

The amenities wete A+. I did not spend amy time during the day.there but I was surprised how nice and quiet the evenings were, allowing me 3 nights of great sleep. However, I like a hot shower...and, sadly, I was diappointed...lukewarm at best.
