The home’s location is attractive enough being mere steps from the sugar white sands of the Emerald Coast, but bonus features like the 6-seater golf cart and complimentary beach cruisers make it even more attractive. You’ll love spending time outdoors at Crab Cottage. Whether its wiling away the afternoon on the front porch swing or laughing over drinks or lounging in the hammock on the covered back patio while the grill roars, Crab Cottage offers the ultimate in beachy R&R.

Inside the home, the cool coastal theme is pitch perfect. Soft beechwood colored furnishings and ivory and seafoam accents create an ambiance you’ll want to sink into. The first floor is the main gathering area with a large living space and a well appointed high end kitchen with designer backsplash. The dining table has seating for six, and there’s an additional space for four at the counter bar. The first floor is rounded out with a mud room and a guest with a king bed.

The second floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms; the master suite has a private en suite bath. The bunk room has ample sleeping space and is perfect for the kids. All three of the rooms have balcony access. It’s luxury and relaxation at its best!

Great Location

Pool across the street, good places to eat a few blocks away and the beach 1 mile away. Place was roomy and had everything we needed. Would def stay here again!

Beautiful house & fabulous stay

The house was impeccable and perfectly accommodated our group of nine. Check-in was seamless and easy. The community pool was right across the street, so convenient. And The Big Chill was a quick golf cart ride away…it does get packed on weekend nights. Not having beach access directly from the community was the only downside. We opted to use the Walton dunes public beach access which was a quick 5-7 min golf cart ride west on 30A. The house was comfortable and very well maintained! We loved sitting out on the front porch! The kitchen is adequately (not amply) stocked—no cooking oil, seasonings, or other pantry staples.

Crab Cottage

The Crab Cottage was amazing! The house was super clean and nice! We had no trouble with the check-in process, and we were checked on numerous times throughout our stay. The house is across the road from the pool which was super convenient! The only downfall of this location is having to find public beach access! It’s easy to hop on the golf cart and ride to the beaches; however, one spot had a very long walk and one spot had very limited parking! Overall, we had a great trip! Lots of good food options and shopping nearby!

This house was wonderful! The location to the pool was our favorite part. We also loved the multiple outdoor spaces to spend time. The house was extremely clean, spacious, and perfect for our family. We enjoyed the Big Chill and location to beaches. Our group would definitely recommend this house!

Great Family Getaway

Our family of four (4 adults, 2 y/o, 10 month old) enjoyed our stay! This was our second time staying in Prominence, and we loved it! Booking, check in/out was a breeze. We only needed assistance once - the freezer door wouldn’t open, it seemed to be frozen shut. Maintenance came pretty quickly despite being about twenty minutes away from closing for the day. We loved having the master suite on the main level, and were thrilled to find the property had a high chair, infant tub, and portable crib (I was told there wasn’t one so we brought our pack and play from home)! The house is spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. We loved having the pool just a few feet away , and were surprised we didn’t hear much noise. The kitchen is equipped with more than enough utensils, and an endless amount of water toys are housed in the garage. The only few drawbacks we could see: the water pressure in all of the showers could be adjusted. Such high pressure is fantastic for removing sand from a day at the beach, but it’s not child friendly. A handheld attachment would also be really helpful for bathing littles. We also felt the front doors needed more privacy. They are beautiful and let in tons of natural light, but left us feeling a little exposed, especially at night. Overall, our stay was lovely, and I would highly consider it again for future beach trips!

Girls trip!

This house was absolutely perfect for the occasion! A group of 11 of us stayed here comfortably to celebrate one of our friends before she gets married. It was the perfect place to stay for a girls beach trip. The pool was conveniently located right across the street and there were many close by places to shop and eat! The golf cart made traveling to the beach easy! The house itself was very clean and spacious. When we ran into any questions or concerns, the owners responded right away. I have already recommended this place to some friends!

Wonderful location

This property is right across from the community pool! We could let the kids walk over and swim while we cooked or hung out on the front porch. The unit comes with a golf cart and is less than a mile from public beach access. We could walk to the Hub for food and fun. It is almost midway on 30A which allowed us to explore the other communities with no hassle. We will be staying again!

Beautiful House and Lovely Area

This house was exactly what we expected. It was in the neighborhood we expected and in a great location for what we were looking to do. The included golf part was wonderful addition. We had friends staying close by and we could easily jump in the cart to scoot to their house or The Hub. It is very convenient being directly across from the pool. The beach is a very short drive since there is no direct beach access in the neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again. The area is always enjoyable.

Last minute decision

We made a last minute decision to divert our vacation with my daughters family from Ft. Myers to the panhandle. Easy to find a place that would suite our needs. Since we had 2 young children with us, the picture of the pool across the street sealed the deal. Unfortunately the pool was closed for the first two days of our stay and we weren’t informed of that prior to renting.

Beautiful property

Crab Cottage is a beautiful home in a very nice community. The house was clean with everything available for a wonderful stay. I especially liked having access to the golf cart which we used daily. The only negative is there is no private beach access at the Prominence Property. We made due by using the community shuttle to visit Santa Rosa Beach and took the golf cart to Deer Lake beach which was closer and less crowded. Perfect family vacation.
