The room was fine. But this only a room and there are NO amenities. One must register and pay online and then use the codes you get in text messages. The kind lady at the bar next door was able to help us with an expired code.

Ok stay

Can’t beat the location of Oxford Suites, it is 4 mins away from the Cathedral. The issue is service in this hostel. We stayed for 3 nights and only got our room cleaned and towels changed one time. There is no reception area so you can’t get anyone to help you, the extra pillows smelled so we ended up not using them, and the room was cold at night because they did not turn on the heat. You need to download WhatsApp so they can send you the code to get in the hostel since there is no one there to help you if you need assistance.

The hotel is just in the corner of Santiago de Compostela Cathedral. Very convenient for everything. Walkable, taxis in the corner if you need them. Hotel is very clean, room has enough space for two. Restaurant are all around, near to Old Town. The hotel doesn’t have staff or front desk, everything is by on line, they send a code to open the hall door, stair and you reach your room. We had a little trouble with the code, a guest help us to understand to push the sign of check

Surprise!

No lift for a 4th floor walk up. Also, no air conditioning which was a surprise. There were 2 fans but they did not work well. We contacted management with no response. I would not stay here ever again

This place is amazing and the location is the best. The only complaint that we had is that there is a green light in the ceiling that can’t be turned off or covered and it is difficult to sleep with it

In warmer weather the rooms in the front need air conditioning. Overnight it was too warm to keep the window closed, and too loud outside to keep it open. Every conversation, the work trucks, the trash being collected, every small noise was amplified in the square. It was too loud to sleep.
