The location was perfect because my relatives live around the corner. We needed a place to sleep. No need for all other amenities. However, that being said, it was disappointing to find that the night before our check-out the new washer and dryer was not hooked up for service. I could have done laundry at my Mom's if I had known beforehand.
Also, not all the burners on the stove top work properly. Even though I only used it to brew coffee, the expectation is to have a fully functional stove. But aside from that, everything else was excellent.
Nice fridge. Plenty dinnerware. Nice decor. Good size smart TV --watched the last FIFA world up match on it, with friends and family.
ALL the rooms were spacious. Lots of windows, lots of light.
Most of the view was idillic. Lovely. Every bedrooms has A/C.
The host keeps coffee and sugar ready. Nice touch.
I made sure to request from the host water bottles upon our arrival. My recommendation to the host is to make the visitors aware that drinking water bottles will be available upon arrival. A generous amount (10-15 bottles) to carry over until a run to the supermarket can be arranged would be nice.
My phone stated the weather in Jarabacoa in July at 71 degrees farenheit at night! We were in the fourth floor and the apt has high ceilings. Perfect!
One last item. Access to the apt is by code --NOT a physical key--which is wonderful because it eliminates the need for the host to be present at 10:30 PM for check-in.
