great once we got there, and getting there was not fun
Communication with the property owner was very poor. Didn't talk to us at all until I got Vrbo involved... and even then he really didn't give me information until 2 hours before checkin. I honestly thought that the whole thing was a set up for us to get robbed, but we still went... the street connecting the neighborhood to the property has been completely washed out, so practically need a truck to approach. Seriously, be careful if you have a rental. However, the apartment itself was fantastic. 4 AC units, 1 in each bedroom and one in the living room. Great stove, but no plates or really anything to cook with. We needed to stay here because there are absolutely no real hotels in Los Alcarrizos. But for 3 adults to each have their own room.... it was a pretty good value... and very comfortable. As bad as it was to get here I will probably use it again if I have to take a group back here. The security guard, Roberto, could not have been nicer. He was extremely helpful. Also, you can walk to the Serena super market without risking your life... this is a huge advantage if you need to feed a group or get supplies. The photos are an accurate representation of the location.
