This is my second time staying at this hotel, and once again, it was an amazing experience. The first time I came, I got engaged — and the second time, I got married. This place truly holds a special meaning for me. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is always excellent. I’ll definitely stay here every time I visit the Dominican Republic. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel located on the center of the zona colonial. The staff was gentle and helpful at anytime. The parking lot is small and was a little hard to park.

Very good location and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The property has a beautiful, old world colonial style. My main disappointment is they advertised having a gym and a steam room, but both are closed indefinitely so the hotel Polacio SHOULD make this known to all potential guests before booking. I always look for hotels with some kind of gym facility, so their blatant dishonesty was not appreciated. Overall it has a really nice old world charm, central location and friendly staff and so I do recommend it.

The location is perfect for walk in the colonial city but the hotel need more improvements the rooms have lot humidity you can smell the moisture, olso bed are uncomfortable definitely need improvement

Great old building that needs some love. All the outdoor areas need the floors cleaned and sealed new umbrellas installed and the pool area needs to be finished and spa repaired. My room was great loved it but the spa tub drain didn’t work and the on in the sink didn’t work either small leak in the toilet area. But I would stay again. The senior king suite is great. Just needs some love

The property was old and running toilet and pool was very old and needed a cleaning. Luis the bellhop asked me for money as i walked out of the hotel on the street, he was acting as security for the parking garage. I found this to be rude and lack of training. In all my years this was a first and i will not be staying here again.
