The staff was very helpful and professional. There were solid dining options within walking distance of the hotel and there was even a grocery store nearby. El embajador didn’t disappoint

Beautiful and classy, great rooms, every possible amenities available, excellent location, serene area, lots of green, beautiful garden. Spa is somehow not at par with the hotel. The majority of the service personal lack expertise and attention to detail, the customer service was poor all around. Lack of information regarding the VIP lounge drinks, they are charged, not free like the rest of the food, snacks, which where not fresh after peak hours. Magnificent hotel with old dirty furniture at the lobby, like I said, needs attention to continue to be as elegant and upscale as it could be.

5/5 stars! We had an incredible stay at Hotel El Embajador in Santo Domingo from July 4-6, 2025. From the moment we arrived, the reception team was warm and welcoming. Our room was stunning, spotless, and the breakfast spread was impressive - a delightful variety of delicious options. The staff went above and beyond, particularly the team that brought dinner to our room. Their politeness and friendliness made us feel right at home. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the surprise they arranged on our last night, which happened to be our wedding anniversary. We casually mentioned it to the ladies bringing our dinner, Giselli and Lisbeth (hope to have their names correct), and they were determined to make it special. They surprised us with a beautifully baked and decorated cake, courtesy of the hotel, and it was a moment we and the kids will cherish forever. The attention to detail and the genuine care shown by the staff are truly commendable. We're already looking forward to our next visit. Huge thanks to Giselli and Lisbeth for making our anniversary celebration one to remember!"
