Two week stay in Bella Vista neighborhood

The apartment looks like the photos. It was a ok stay however two issues: 1. One other reviewer mentioned the garage parking is very tight. This is correct. While garages in any apartment building in Santo Domingo can be small, the spot assigned to this particular unit makes getting a larger car or an SUV into and out of very difficult which could be an issue if you have, say, a rental. If you won't have a car, then this is not an issue. 2. All the windows in the apartment; the bedroom, the living room area, the kitchen, directly face windows and patios of the building next door and they can see into the apartment at night. If you are a woman, you may feel a bit uncomfortable (my wife did). It's not the host's fault per say but still, there's a lack of privacy feeling. Building was secure.

Everything is clean in the house. no noise, quiet neighborhood. free parking, swimming pool, there is always electricity, the air conditioners work very well. my wife loved our stay.

Prime location in the heart of the City

Excellent location! Walking distance to shops, park and restaurants. Property was clean and comfortable... Exactly as advertised. Property owner provided accurate and helpful information; Excellent communication. I would definitely consider staying in this property again.

A quiet retreat in the heart of the city

I had a great time here. The rooftop pool was the main reason I chose this property and thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with friends in the evening and made some new friends as well, which is always a plus. The assigned parking spot is a little tricky if you have a big vehicle . The washer and dryer are a nice feature but the dryer does not vent to the outside so leave the closet door open and use a low heat setting. Otherwise the dryer and the air conditioner will fight each other. The Wi-Fi worked great. I couldn't figure out the TV remotes, so I gave up and went out dancing instead. There is a great little pastry shop around the corner and a mall with a supermercado and farmacia too. This would be my first choice to stay in Santo Domingo west side next trip.
