Wala Boca Chica has very clean rooms and friendly, easygoing staff who are willing to accommodate guests. The onsite gift shop is equipped with everything that vendors sell on the beach, at very reasonable prices. The food is an eclectic mix of Asian & Dominican fusion. Great vacation at a price that won't break the bank.

I visited this hotel with my wife and we did not like the service in general. When we looked for towels for the pool, they did not have any. We had to wait two hours. The sound on stage during the show is very bad. Smoking is not respected, so everyone smokes, regardless of whether there are children. We made a reservation at the a la carte restaurant, which is supposed to be Italian, and the food was not good at all. The wine was very poor, and they served it warm, even the white wine.

Staff is nice and attentive, property needs major maintenance/ upgrades, Food is terrible at the resort, but there are a lot of nice restaurants and cafes nearby. It should be a single resort, a lot of locals go there, they sell day passes also keep an eye on belongings near pool area and beach things were being stolen.

The resort is in a very sketchy part of town. The beach is public so anyone can come to the beach. Many vendors on the beach selling the same things. Adult pool allowed children. The food was horrible and barely edible. The room was dirty. Smelled musty and had a leak in the bathroom over the toilet. My view was of the trash area and had barbed wire.

I expected something different for the prices. Place was dirty, front desk rude, food was trash, no wifi, no electricity for a few minutes, alcohol tasted like water, rooms were dirty, no towels. I had some issues check in. Not worth it

The food was all artificial drinks non alcoholic and alcoholics were water down we left 1 day early because we couldn’t take it dogs barking all night and drunk men cursing as well I had to scream from my balcony to shut up so I can sleep so terrible
