Comfortable bed and hot shower. Simple hotel with a decent breakfast and convenient to downtown and public transit. The area is safer during the day. At night, you should use a relaxing or Uber. During the day, it is easy to take metro and bus.

The location is excellent for public transport and for those wanting to be near the city center. Metro República is two and 1/2 blocks away. The room was spacious, bed comfortable and the water pressure was excellent. I had a room facing praça Júlio Mesquita. It had a balcony, which I loved but many drug users frequent the area during the late night and early morning hours and create street noise that awakened me often during the night. During the day, the area seems safe and convenient but late at night one should use caution. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.
