Bit walk to subway, area seems bit out of the way but close to the commercial shopping street. Hotel is bare-bone. Everything is self serve. Staff does not speak English. Maybe the language barrier make them seem unfriendly. I won’t stay here again. Paying CA410/night for a 2 star hotel or motel doesn’t make sense

I did not enjoy my stay here and I think this is the first time I didn't like a hotel in Japan. I find that most of the people who work at hotels are very welcoming and kind. I know that having to welcome foreigners isn't always fun so I tried to use the very limited Japanese I've learned to help but upon first check in, the front desk was unsmiling and unhappy. It was very offputting. She didn't handed me my keys but didn't mention that I got meal tickets and I assumed it was just information on the hotel and didn't think to check (that is my fault). I only saw later that I had free meal tickets. A couple of other times that i've tried to talk to other staff, they had the same demeanor except 2 of the staff members. One helped me get back into my room after I accidentally left my key inside and the other came in midway after another person was helping me ship a package. The room itself was not great. Everything felt a bit outdated and gross. Because it's the winter, I've been soaking in my tubs since I have tattoos and can't go to the public baths. The tub at this hotel looked unclean and the sink as well. There was an orange ring around the drain. Everything looked like it wasn't cleaned very well. The room itself was fine and manageable although a bit small.

Hotel is a bit out of the train station. Need to walk about 10 minutes. Other than that, room and facilities are good. A good 5 minute walk to shopping mall nearby.

The walls were extremely thin. The first night we heard our neighbours chatting and the following morning their cell phone alarm going off. The following night we could not sleep since our neighbours were having a party at 1:30am. The elevator is small and needs an upgrade. Rooms are extremely small and could use some maintenance. Coffee was not available until 3pm

Great location, friendly staff and decent sized rooms. We had the premier room and Stairs was dangerous and Layout was strange. Unfortunately the property was underwhelming giving how young it is it’s not in the best condition. Carpets are worn and lots of scratches everywhere. Smoking room downstairs filled the entire lobby with a strong smell.
