Nice breakfast high tea style. Staff were very helpful. Stayed in the loft room for a family of 5. The loft was half height which was fun for the kids. Overall the room space was a bit tight but sufficient. Washing machine and dryers were pay per use.

It was great experience with Unwind. I like the design of the hotel. Room is clean and well designed whereby I found everything I need. The hotel also offers free wine tasting everyday so please don't miss it if staying with the hotel.

There's a lot to like about the Unwind Hotel. The location is excellent as is the overall decor and atmosphere of the hotel. The service was prompt and very friendly. Even though we don't speak Japanese there were no problems. The restaurant was fantastic. In particular the breakfast that came with our room was like nothing I've experienced before. A variety of small dishes that were delicious. The free wine happy hour in the bar was a nice bonus. The room was a bit small, but that was expected and not unusual for Japan. The shower was one of the best I've encountered in Japan.

This was a lovely stay in Otaru. Pleasant staff and our room was unexpectedly ready early (rare in Hokkaido). The free wine in the lounge is a lovely perk. Rooms are small but functional with hot water showers. Could use a bit more storage in the bathroom, but we made it work. Staff are all friendly and the breakfasts were massive and delicious. Thanks for the great stay!
