This hotel is one of many in the area, but what sets it apart is its exceptional staff. While the rooms have an older charm, they are well-maintained, and the beds, along with the sheets and towels, are newer. Guests can enjoy a heated pool and a welcoming tiki bar. The highlight of our stay was the complimentary breakfast, where Bruce and Miriam went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt taken care of. Thank you for making our experience special!

As a 'young', 64 year old woman, traveling solo, I read MANY reviews of different places before deciding, I am SO happy I chose to stay here! I chose a room with a balcony and it had a lovely view of the water, boats and various birds. Beautiful sunset in evenings. Nice walkway also. Every employee I dealt with was friendly, especially Bruce , the greeter at the breakfast buffet. The breakfast was great, variety of foods, ( eggs, pancakes, cereals, sausage, individually wrapped fruit! and much more), Always well stocked and kept clean. Coffee bar was available at all times. Room had huge TV, room was very quiet. Ate dinner twice, at their Tiki Bar restaurant. Nice place, not wild and crazy, just casual. The restaurant service was good, yummy food and some music also. A few evenings, I could hear the band from the comfort of my balcony, which I enjoyed, it stopped at 10pm. Nice pool area too. Beautiful lobby, everything kept clean, felt safe. Ample and easy parking. There is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs, if you're on second floor. The Sarasota airport is very close, so there were planes going over often, but I actually liked it and thought they were cool to hear and see! Very happy I stayed hear, nothing negative to say, I loved it!

Great one night stop

This was a great stop for one night. The bar/restaurant on site was a great factor in selecting this hotel. The location was exactly what we were looking for in a one night stop on a long road trip around Florida. We had a water view which was excellent, the bar was fun and offered a lot of food options. There is no elevator so be aware. The hotel always felt safe and clean and we enjoyed watching the harbor activity. I would stay there again if in the area.

It is a beautiful place. A bit pricey and kind of noisy with the planes flying overhead, but it has a beautiful outside tike bar and good music.

High price for lower quality.

This hotel is old and has some updates but didn't meet our expectations for the price. Staff was nice. Towels were stained. Matress squeeked. Airport is very close as is hwy. Noisy. Breakfast was average. Pool was nice. Tiki bar was good and popular.

This hotel was maybe a 1 1/2 star at best . The entire hotel is badly in need of renovations, The beds were old and creaky, worn out mattresses and bedding. Sorry, but you asked. We could not wait to wake up and get out of there.

Nice stay

Old building, but well maintained. The beds were comfortable, linen was soft, and rooms clean. The restaurant had good food and drinks. All staff encountered was pleasant.
