Dont think twice book now!

This was our second visit to the property in Sarlat and it was just as good the second time as it was the first.The house is situated about 10 mins walk from Sarlat town centre and 2 mins from Carrefour so is perfectly situated for everything you can want.The house is fitted with top spec appliances. All bedrooms are en-suite and immaculate, equipped with air con and electric shutters - nothing has been overlooked.The pool and hot tub along with the decked area provide a great place to recoup after a day sightseeing and despite being close to amenities birdsong is prevalent.Jean-Marc and his wife are great hosts - available to answer anything you may need but not intrusive at all.We WILL be returning.

Wat een fantastisch huis!

We verbleven hier met 2 koppels (volwassenen en kinderen tussen 14 en 18 jaar). We zijn zeer goed en gastvrij ontvangen door Jean-Marc en zijn vrouw Het huis heeft losse kamers die elk een "hotel" beleving hebben; mooi ruim met eigen badkamer en voorzien van een rolluik. Het huis heeft een prima uitgeruste keuken van alle gemak voorzien. De zit kamer hebben we niet eens gebruikt. Bij mooi weer is het verwarmde zwembad heerlijk! Vanuit het zwembad heb je vrij zicht in de vallei. Ook de jacuzzi is een waar feest zo groot (5 persoons) zie je ze zelden. De villa ligt op een mooi privé terrein. In de omgeving is veel te beleven; kastelen, wandelen, kanoën en diverse marktjes. Je loopt op 10 minuten vanaf het huis naar het centrum van Sarlat. Dit dorpje is een echte parel.

Excellent!

Second time here and was not disappointed. Jean Marc and Sandrine are wonderful hosts. The house was still as perfect as a year ago and has all you need to enjoy your stay in the Dordogne. I doubt you’ll find a better place to stay locally. Don’t delay book it!

Top villa in lovely French town

Week towards end of August was spent lazing by and in the pool or jacuzzi followed by BBQs in the evening. Rooms were perfect and all amenities close by. The only slight issue was the very steep drive from the entrance up to the villa but everything else was perfect.

What a beautiful villa. Built around the pool and decking with enough space for 6 adults and a child to have their own space Sarlat is an easy 15 minute stroll away, with it's shops, restaurants and markets. Our family of 5 (parents with 3 teenagers aged 19, 17 and 15) enjoyed a week at this wonderful property. It was close enough to Sarlat for us to walk in whenever we chose (be warned of the steep incline of the drive which would make this unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues) but also within easy driving distance of lots of beautiful attractions. The villa itself is immaculately maintained with everything you could need for a family holiday. Each teenager had their own double room and family sized bathroom. Kitchen was high-spec with separate laundry room and there was lots of indoor living space. There was air-con throughout with individual controls for each room. The pool, hot tub and terrace have lovely views of the countryside with plenty of opportunies for reading in the shade or catching the sun. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, greeting us on arrival to show us around the property. Sarlat itself is a vibrant medieval town with stunning architecture and a perfect blend of independent shops and restaurants to suit all ages.

Fabulous

Great property, great location and great hosts. It is a beautiful part of France. The town Is lovely with lots of lovely villages close by to visit. My boys canoed on the Dordogne and hired bicycles. Many an afternoon and early evening spent in the pool. The property offers everything you need. I have stayed here twice now and would return in a heartbeat.

Stunning property with an amazing view

Loved everything about this beautiful home! This was our first ever visit to France and what a way to stay. The home is outstanding and gorgeous with loads of space, everything is to a high standard, a bathroom with every bedroom, all items you need to cook is supplied in the kitchen, great BBQ, and our favourite parts were the infinity pool and jacuzzi where the view is perfect! Even in the evening we would sit with a glass of wine outside with the lights on looking at the views. The walk into the local town was very nice about 15min tops, the walk up to the property has a steep drive so that is something to bare in mind on the walk back, and we visited other places which were amazing and only 20mind drive. Jean-Marc and his wife were truly welcoming and the wine was lovely we went back to the shop a few times for a top up, there were st hand for any questions and recommendations so thank you both for making our first stay perfect! We loved every minute and look forward to returning in the future.

Wonderful Holiday!

Words can’t really sum up what a fantastic villa this is. Every last detail has been thought about, from the initial design around the pool down to the smallest thing you need on a holiday. The villa is built around the pool,with bedrooms on either side and the open plan kitchen/lounge at the end. All the appliances are very high end with lots of high tech controls. The villa overlooks the valley at the top of Sarlat and is an easy 12/15 min walk into town. Sarlat is a lovely small town, very medieval; with lots of shops. The region also has lots to do, most things less than a 20/30 min drive. We had a fantastic week here and if you book this place you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend!!

Lovely villa on the edge of Sarlat

Outstanding rental villa on the edge of Sarlat (5-10 minute walk to the town centre). House is spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard. Three double bedrooms and one twin, all good sizes with lots of storage and air-conditioned. Communal areas also airconditioned which is nice. Heated pool is beautiful with views over the valley and countryside. Very well equipped. Nice outdoor area for outside dining - gas fired BBQ also a bonus. The owners live nearby and are friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this villa.

Luxury propert in a great location

We enjoyed staying in this luxurious property set on ahill with outstanding views over the valley. It was equipped with modern appliances, air conditioning and a heated swimming pool that was enjoyed by all. The owners were available if anything was needed and were very hospitable. Book it now - you will not be disappointed!

We are return visitors to the region and Sarlat in June is divine. This was our first visit to this property and it will not be our last. The location is perfect. The property looks over some really lovely green scenery and we were greeted by birdsong every morning and evening. It is within a ten minute walk to the centre of Sarlat and if you need a supermarket Carrfour is a one minute drive, three minute walk. The house itself is amazing. All the rooms are ensuite and really well appointed and the L shape means that every room looks out onto the pool and deck. The open plan kitchen/living area really plays into the design too. Every morning we breakfasted outside and it was glorious. Again, the kitchen had all mod cons, plenty of crockery and all in all there is nothing I can find to say that is negative. There is also a "laundry" with everything you could need - pegs, iron, airer etc etc and a second fridge. The whole group were delighted with our stay and were nothing short of comatose at times it was so relaxing. Thank you Jean-Marc and Sandrine for designing an amazing property which gave us an fantastic base for our holiday! A bientot!

An amazing property

An amazing, modern and spacious property with a great pool in a peaceful location but within a 10 to 15 minute stroll of the lively town centre of Sarlat with all the shops, bars and restaurants you need. Lovely stay in a high quality gite

This is a beautifully appointed gite in a lovely quiet part of Sarlat and we enjoyed a fantastic stay. The pool is lovely and so are all the facilities with air con throughout, great kitchen and a plancha by the pool and our hosts, Jean Marc and Sandrine, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We stayed with our adult sons and one of their girlfriends and all of us would thoroughly recommend the gite. Sarlat is also a lovely historic town and there is so much to do and see there and in the countryside around. I'm sure we will be back.

Best Villa in Sarlat

Fantastic property and great location just 10 mins walk into Sarlat. Sensible sized pool and jaccuzi big enough for whole family. A very modern and well designed villa with a table and chairs for eight on the decking by the pool and another table for eight in the main room. You can't really fault it. Everything is provided. All you have to buy is food !!

Modern living to the max

We were a group of four couples who have holidays together, the property suited us as it had four en-suite bedrooms, it surpassed all our expectations, luxury living for a week. Really well equipped we wanted for nothing, well situated for the lovely town of Sarlat and the beautiful surroundings of the dordogne.

Family Holiday in Sarlat

The property is far enough away from Sarlat centre to be very quiet, but close enough to easily walk to the centre of the town ; a leisurely 20 minute walk. The property itself is very well laid out with 4 good sized bedrooms each with its own bathroom and a large open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen. There is also a large utility room . The property is very well equipped , with all that you might need. The swimming pool / hot tub and surrounding decking are lovely with sun and shade as you like. The gas BBQ was very modern and we used it for all the dinners where we ate in. The hosts are very friendly and helpful , and are actually neighbours, which was very helpful to deal with the odd question.
