## Emplacement
Sarrola Carcopino is composed of two charming hamlets on the side of the mountain which offer a beautiful view on Ajaccio.
In the surroundings, you can reach one of the highest summits of the country of Ajaccio: La punta Sant éliseo at 1271 M; the walk is very beautiful and along the path you can discover magnificent landscapes on both sides.
Each hamlet is also guarded by a tower-house. Composed of a beautiful set of pink granite houses, narrow streets, vaults and whitewashed walls, Sarrola Carcopino is also one of the first communes in Corsica for its high number of producers. Some of them are very famous (cheeses, essential oils, saffron...).
