Terrible experience at Heritage Inn Saskatoon — especially with the Operations Manager, April Vademoro. I had been staying at Heritage Inn Saskatoon from May 20, 2025, with a reservation until June 14, 2025. The purpose of our extended stay was because my wife is pregnant, with a due date of June 4, 2025. As of June 9, we were still waiting for the birth of our baby — a very sensitive and stressful time for our family. During breakfast on June 9, I found a hair in my food. I was polite about it, simply informing the staff so they could be more careful. I also asked for 6 coffee cups, as they are supposed to be provided daily, but was told I would have to pay for them — which was unreasonable given our booking. When I asked to speak with the manager, April Vademoro arrived. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, she told me, "You don’t have to stay — you can check out today," knowing that my pregnant wife was 5 days overdue. We were effectively pushed out of the hotel at a very critical time and had to find emergency accommodation elsewhere. This was incredibly stressful and humiliating, especially coming from a hotel manager. Overall, this was the worst service I have experienced in any hotel. I would strongly caution others — especially families and those needing a supportive, professional environment — to think twice before staying here.

The beds were clean and the bathroom was clean but dated. The carpets in the room and throughout the halls were quite dirty. The main lobby was clean. Hotel staff was friendly. The breakfast was limited-eggs, bacon, potatoes and pancakes. No fruit was served and when I asked I had to give two additional meal tickets for two to go containers for watermelon and cut up oranges. Overall the stay was ok, I probably won’t seek out this hotel again in the future.

We were evacuated from our community due to a wildfire. The night staff that checked us in (I can’t think of her name, my memory is awful right now - she has blonde hair) was absolutely wonderful. Extremely compassionate to our situation and happy to help accommodate us. Extremely happy with the stay.

Hotel room was excellent. Staff at check in & out were awesome I didn’t care for the dinner I had chicken was tough, vegetables were soggy but mashed potatoes were good. No cocktails as the bar wasn't open.

It was ok. I’d stay again if it was just an over night. Lack of pool or hot tub is a turn off. It fell a bit old school but for the price it was clean and the staff were professional.

I had booked a queen bed and got a double bed. When l brought it to their attention they denied that it was a double bed. Also the breakfast was not what l expected and the area was old with poor lighting

Getting run-down. Dog friendly but $ 20 for each dog? Hotel definitely not worth$ 170.00 a nite with 2 small dogs. I never received anything for the pet fee ( no bowls,blankets or dog bed)Perhaps the fee should be re thought if you are not providing a thing for it. Breakfast was poor.
