Downtown cities in Canada are all unsafe due to the policies of our government. No heat in the west wing but they did supply a space heater if you ask. Should have told a person when signing in. They did accommodate me to a main floor from second floor due to stairs and appreciate that

As first timers, I would say it was just okay. The hotel entrance was confusing and hard to find especially for first timers. The way it was built is not friendly for travelers. The weather was really bad when we came. I find it inconvenient that the parking is separate from the building. There is no access from the parking to the hotel and it is difficult since we had a lot of things to get from the car, plus it was raining hard with snow and wind. Also, the meals are really expensive from the restaurant. The hotel room doesn't look the same as the one in the pictures. It looks like this is the "old" hotel. The smell from the washroom didn't smell like it was clean or fresh. Still, we were able to sleep well for the night.

Went for the jacuzzi/pool. Email upon check in said it was no longer under Reno, but alas it still was. Hotel couldn’t refund my room and I didnt have the time or energy to try this via Expedia; but hotel did upgrade my room and throw in a $8 breakfast voucher.

Everything was excellent, except for one thing I was under the understanding that the pool in the hot tub was to be open at the end of September. It’s the middle of October and it’s still not open. I was quite disappointed about that but other than that, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. It was a really nice place to stay.

The west wing rooms are small and do not have a fridge or microwave, however the shower was modern and huge, also, the bed was VERY comfortable! Parking is cramped and costs $15/night, but they have a security guard on. Tricky to find the first floor rooms...as I had never stayed in one before.... I wished someone would've directed me when I checked in! Good thing for the map on the doors haha

They were so nice to surprise us with an upgrade however there was a plumbing issue coming up from the floor after the shower was used leading to a very unpleasant odour all night. They were very apologetic for the mishap.
