Tucked away in the heart of Sauk Centre, this studio cabin offers a peaceful nature retreat. With a cozy electric fireplace and a private on-site hiking trail, this 1-bath cabin provides a rustic escape while still keeping you close to local attractions. Spend your days snowmobiling the Sauk Lake trail system, ice fishing on Fairy Lake, or cross-country skiing nearby, then unwind by the fire and enjoy the quiet surroundings in the evenings.

The Property

The cabin sits within walking distance of Fairy Lake and includes a fireplace, gas grill. The outside grounds include a picnic table, a patio with outdoor seating, an outdoor gas patio fireplace, a wood-burning fire pit, and a private hiking trail through an oak forest.

Sleeping arrangements include a loft with two twin beds that can convert to a king (let us know before arrival), along with a queen sleeper sofa on the main level.


Indoor amenities feature a 50” Roku TV, electric fireplace, air-conditioner, breakfast bar with seating, a welcome gift, and ceiling fan. The kitchen is stocked with cooking basics, a coffee maker, stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, filtered water, and full dishware and flatware.

For everyday comfort, the cabin offers free WiFi, keyless entry, complimentary toiletries, hair dryer, linens and towels, air conditioning. toilet paper and paper towels, trash bags,

The decor was lovely and welcoming. Clean and kitchen supplied well with needed utensils for cooking. Beautiful setting. The only drawback was gravel road to get to this retreat. We cycled on WOBEGONE TRAIL. Loved Jordie's at Bowles and the ART IN MOTION at Holdingford.

Amazing!

We had a wonderful time! Property was exactly like the photos. Full kitchen with all supplies. Excellent hosts who provided everything imaginable. First night there, strong storms were going through the area. The hosts were concerned about our safety and allowed us to stay with them in their home until the storms were over. I've never had other hosts so this before. Not a single complaint about our stay. Have recommended this property to many friends and family and we will definitely be going back!

Wonderful Birthday Getaway

My bestie and I stayed here for a girls weekend/birthday celebration. What a great property and wonderful hosts! We got to hike the amazing trail on the property, relaxed, took in some local spots and had amazing time! Look forward to the next visit!!

Amazing stay beautiful & relaxing!

We had an incredible time at this property! The hosts were amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. The place itself was beautiful, peaceful, and very relaxing. We especially loved the walking trail and enjoyed hitting some fantastic bike trails close by! If you're looking for a quiet, nature-filled retreat, this is the perfect spot. Sauk Centre getaway

The stay with my sister was great. We enjoyed it and the property. Weather was beautiful so we were able to also enjoy the little yard outside with the chairs and gas firepiit.

Three Rs

The stay was what I needed it to be: Resting, Reading and Riding. I needed to quiet place to rest. The Oak woods that surround the Playhouse provided that. I also just wanted to read for a few days. Yet, the area is not without lack of activities especially for the water enthusiast in the summer and the hunter in the fall. I enjoyed riding my motorcycle around the large lakes, taking in the clean air. The hosts were accommodating beyond necessity and the grounds were immaculate!
