Freedom Finder is an award-winning 3-bedroom cabin just outside Helen, Georgia, designed for guests who want the trip itself to feel restful — not rushed.

Most guests arrive, step onto the covered porch, and pause for a minute before even bringing bags inside. The chairs sway, the trees block the noise, and the pace changes on its own. With high-speed WiFi, a smart TV for streaming, and a layout designed for real conversation, it’s comfortable whether you're here to unplug or stay connected.

Inside, the cabin is warm and easy to use. The living room keeps everyone together without feeling crowded, the kitchen is fully equipped with stainless appliances, cookware, spices, and a coffee setup for slow mornings, and the three private bedrooms are set up for actual rest after a full day outside.

The most wonderful experience! By far the best place we have stayed. Host was absolutely amazing! You can tell the amount of effort put into to every detail. We loved the guidebook and visited many of the recommenned sights, restaurants and shops. We didn't want to go home and made great memories. Great Place for a Long Weekend

My husband and I choose this property for a long weekend getaway with our dogs. We were beyond impressed with everything about our stay, from the spotlessly clean accommodation, to the above and beyond communication from our host, to the picturesque grounds, and the thoughtful touches like a welcome basket and all the amenities we could possibly need (even things you don’t typically find at VRBO properties like toiletries, coffee, books, games, etc.). It’s also super convenient to local attractions like state parks, wineries, and some wonderful restaurants in Helen. This was honestly the most thoughtfully appointed rental property we’ve ever booked and we will definitely book it again the next time we find ourselves visiting Helen.

Heavenly!!

We had the most amazing stay. We were snowed in for a few days and we weren’t sad about it. The place was clean and cozy. Lynette was so easy to talk to and very quick with responses. She had a s’mores kit and a hot cocoa bar for us which I thought was so sweet! The beds were so comfortable!! There is absolutely nothing that could have made the stay any better. We enjoyed the fire pit and we loved the jacuzzi. We will definitely be making a trip back to see this beautiful slice of heaven!

Wonderful Christmas getaway!

Our adult family snuck away for a weekend to Helen before Christmas. The Freedom Finder was absolutely perfect! Warm, cozy, clean, well-stocked and fully decorated. Coffee, hot chocolate with fixings, teas, and smores provided. The host goes above and beyond to supply the sweetest of amenities. Made the experience so special. The cabin was beautiful, the fire pits were inviting, as we had pretty chilly weather. We enjoyed the hot tub after our long hikes. Played games and watched Christmas movies and just enjoyed each others company. Wish we had stayed longer. Would definitely book the Freedom Finder again! Thank you for such a special welcome!

Extremely Pleased!

Our visit was wonderfully enjoyable and relaxing. This was in no small part due to the level of attention given to the preparation and staging of the home and the property. I travel frequently and never know what to expect from a property. I can only say that my wife and I have never stayed in a vacation rental so well appointed. We really had everything we might need provided for our stay. And the outside yard, which provides relaxing vignettes like the fire pit, porch swings, rocking chairs and star gazer made the outside experience just as meaningful and enjoyable as the inside of the property. We are so excited to return for an even longer stay next year!

Amazing family getaway!

We had the best time at this cabin for a nice family getaway. The house was clean along with some personal touches and amenities. The kids had a blast making s’mores at the firepit and we loved the nice walking areas for the dogs. 5 stars for all things here at Freedom Finder! The location to town was also super convenient especially with young kids. We highly recommend!

Fabulous Property and Location

This property was perfect for our family of four hosting elder parents (grandparents). It had all the nice touches. The fire pits were fabulous and well stocked with wood. The outdoor spaces provided lots of extra room. The porch was cleaned which was thoughtful for those wanting to sit outside. The beds were excellent. Great communication with owner.

Family Vacation

Our family vacation getaway was a success, and in large part because of the work Lynette did prior to our arrival and her availability during our stay. Online guide that we could all access—yes! Games and entertainment—yes! Gathering spaces—beautiful! We didn’t need to do much research or bring much with us because Lynette had everything together. Found peace at "Freedom Finder" cabin in GA.

We fell in love with the Freedom Finder cabin and the town of Helen, GA. This property is immaculate, well-appointed and very family friendly. Relaxing Family Vacation

This was such a gorgeous and well kept cabin. The owner left so many wonderful details for the kiddos. We had scavenger hunts, hammock time and s’mores. The beds were so comfortable and the fact we could bring our dogs was a great treat. The property is private and quiet. We had no problems getting in and out of Helen GA to explore. I especially loved how we could spend all day at the cabin because there was so much to do. The owner was so nice and we hope to stay at her other properties in the future! Highly recommended to all our friends!

Absolutely Amazing

6 adults. When we arrived, getting inside was very simple. It is in a very secluded and private location. Everything was very clean and we felt welcome from the time we walked through the door. The inside felt cozy. Everything was clearly explained. The hot tub was perfect-hot and clean. The large porch was also amazing. We all loved how exceptional this house is and we plan on coming back in the future. Lynnette is the best host I have ever had with VRBO and I wish there were more like her. She goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are well taken care of. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Perfect Cabin Retreat- would definitely come back!

Perfect cabin retreat! Lynette is a very attentive host and had the cabin stocked with everything one might need. The thoughtful touches for my husband's birthday were an added bonus. Also appreciated were the amenities and some extra treats for our pup. Self checkin/checkout was very convenient. The cabin is just as described and better. We enjoyed the falling leaves from the colorful trees in the backyard from the porch, sounding like rain. We used the firepit area and hottub each night except when we went into Helen for Oktoberfest festivities one evening. We ventured out to Anna Ruby Falls one day too. We all agreed we would definitely come back to Freedom Finder and we are telling all our friends.

Georgia Mountains Weekend

Place was amazing, everything just as described. Lynette even had the small touches that make a guest feel special, a welcome basket with smore fixings as well as a personal thank you card; and a tray in the master bedroom with a bud vase, books, and mints. Best Hosr ever!

Freedom Finder was exactly as advertised, only better. It was an easy drive to town, yet felt very private and peaceful at the cabin. Lynette has thought of everything, she has anything you could possibly need or want. We have stayed in many vacation homes and none were as stocked as Freedom Finder. Out Stay at Freedom Finder

This rental was an outstanding rental. The cabin was well maintained, and when we arrived there were special items that welcomed us there. The hot tub was great, clean and worked perfect. The rooms were stocked to and above standard. The fireplace in the living room was the icing on our stay. The fire pit outside was well lit and a great place to prepare smores. If you are looking for a family rental, this is it.
