Romantic luxury carriage house on E Hall street, 3 blocks from Forsyth Park and the Mansion Hotel's Poseidon Day Spa, one block from the only major grocery store downtown and inside the borders of the official 'Historic District' sought after by visitors. This listing has access to a fabulous courtyard with outdoor fireplace! This little hideaway is a secure and private house ideal for 2 people but allows up to 4 max with pullout sofa (recommended for 2 kids or teens, or 1 small adult). Parking is free and easy on the street at this property. This block has no meters and is non-competitive. Upper Level. Not suitable for anyone who has trouble with stairs.

Very cute and private. There is a very cute coffee shop three doors down, Mate Factor. The apartment was very comfortable. Not very far from downtown Savannah. In cooler weather, it would be slightly over a two mile walk. We used Uber because it was very hot and humid. Very quick ride. A lot of parking available downtown if you want to drive. Great street parking in front of the property.

Daughter’s move

Wanted to be close to daughter’s place. Everything was great. Clean, equipped kitchen (in all fairness that meant glasses and bottle opener for us) nice place. Love Savannah! It was nice to have washer/dryer though we did not use.

Family visit in Savannah

We had a wonderful time visiting Savannah and the apartment was perfect for the three of us. It was located very close to all of the downtown location. Street parking was never a problem. The apartment was very clean and comfortable.

The place was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the abundance of towels. The neighborhood was very quiet. We loved the bakery/coffee shop a few doors down. The location was great and allowed us to walk to the riverfront. A couple of small issues.- courtyard was unkempt, not really inviting - no control of AC, sometimes it was too cold- wifi was very slow and mostly spotty, ended up using my phone as a hotspot- on a rainy afternoon with nothing to do we tried to watch the TV. No ability to use my streaming service on the living room TV.- TV in bedroom was a smart TV, but so tiny we would need binoculars to see it.Again, the above concerns are small but attention to these would make it that much more attractive.

Lovely apt above carriage house down gated pathway / secluded courtyard. Absolutely comfy bed, great kitchen, laundry a plus, good shower. Location within4 blocks of hop/on and free bus. Groc store one block

Carriage House Stay

My sister and I spent three days at the carriage house and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We were able to get on the hop on/hop off bus and explored the city and we enjoyed the lovely coffee shop just around the corner. The carriage house was a quiet, clean sanctuary. Loved it!

North Savannah

We spent 3 nights, apartment was quiet but a liitle out of the way. It is 2nd floor, over a garage. 4 blocks to Forsyth Park, 5 blocks to the trolley which stops running 7pm, 1 mile walk to restaraunts and shopping. We had to move the car for street sweeping but not a problem parking on the other side for 1 night. It was very clean. There is a full kitchen and laundry however we used neither. We ate at Vic's On The River; Little Duck Diner; Vinnie Van GoGo pizza; Crystal Beer Parlor; and towards Tybee Island at Wiley Championship BBQ....all great.

Exactly as listed

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this cute apartment in the Carriage House. It was exactly as pictured and listed. Cozy and comfortable with everything we needed. The close proximity to Kroger (grocery store) and Mate Factor coffee shop were extra convenience bonuses. We were able to walk all over Historic Savannah from this comfy hub and relax for quiet evenings. I also enjoyed soaking up some sun in the quaint courtyard. We did have two days of frustrating, weather related travel delays and are hopeful that travel insurance covers the non refundable days we had already paid for.
