Nice old hotel but terrible parking & fees.

This is a nice old hotel within walking distance of downtown Savannah. The staff were very nice and our room was nice except for construction right outside our window starting at 6:00 am! Ridiculous! Because of that we in a way couldn't wait to leave even though we were on an anniversary trip. Most hotels give you something on your anniversary also but not here. - One of the bad things about staying here is the parking. There are only about 10 spots at the hotel then you have to park 2 blocks away in a "sketchy" parking ramp & walk with your luggage to the hotel! They charged us $75.00 per night fees for our "free" Cokes, popcorn and parking! The room was nice and we really liked Debi's restaurant downstairs at the hotel. If you can put up with the parking issue and the ridiculous fees & price you might like staying here.

I loved the easy access to the River Front area. The staff were fabulous! The rooms were so historic, felt like I went back in time. I did not like the view from both of the windows was if a construction site which began working each morning very early. Also, the rooms have hardwood floors, so I could hear guests that were above me walking all during the night.

A very nice stay.

The hotel is in a great location. A lot of the sites in Savannah is within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant, Debi's, was very pleasant and the food was good. I had some minor issues with room design and cleanliness.

Exploring Savannah @East Bay Inn

The room was exceptionally clean. The bedding looked brand new and the bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean with nice amenities like bathrobes and toiletries.

This hotel is in a great location, right across from the riverwalk and very close to lots of restaurants. Onsite parking is very limited, but it's free, which is rare to find in downtown Savannah. Hotel itself is very nice. Period decor makes you feel like you are in another era, but with all modern amenities. Rooms are very nice and clean, and staff is very friendly and helpful.

Jewel of Savannah!

We were a large group of friends who met in Savannah. East Bay could not have been more accommodating. It wasn’t our first stay with them but it was the first for our friends. They absolutely loved it. We will be returning.

This boutique hotel was wonderful. The staff (especially Steven) was super helpful and welcoming. Its location couldn't be better. We loved the room and the restaurant as well.
