I was very happy with my recent stay at this property! First of all, I think it’s a beautiful building both outside and in the lobby. As far as the room, I had a king bed suite and felt that it was very clean, comfortable, and smelled great. The bathroom was perfect and extremely spacious with ample counter space for all of my belongings. The shower was also very large and I had no issues with water pressure or warmth. The staff from arrival to departure was superb and very kind. The property also has a stop across the street for the Old Trolley Tour. I’d also like to note, I liked that this hotel was more quiet than some of the others closer to the river (lots of kids partying on the weekend), so that was nice to return to in the evening. For amenities, I tried the complimentary breakfast in the morning, which was very good (custom omelettes and fresh pancakes), I just don’t think there’s a huge change in the variety of offerings day to day. My only complaint about the evening reception was that the drinks tasted watered down, but they are free at least. But I’d say the fact that that was my only “con” says something about how great my experience was because I had no serious issues at all. I’d definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Savannah.
