The room was clean, the staff in the restaurant for breakfast were amazing, especially Tuana and Mike. The front desk staff were very nice and professional. Staff were always cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, which I REALLY appreciated. The pool was good for a hotel pool (7 strokes, but good enough for me to get a swim in). The mattresses were decent, lots of pillows, great location in the heart of Savanna’s River front and a casual stroll down Bull St to see all of the fabulous squares. My friend paid $50 a day for valet parking, which is insane, but it was cheaper and more convenient than flying. Try and get a deal on Expedia because it isn’t cheap.

Rooms were nice and hotel overall is lovely. Food and location were great. I arrived at 7am from Amtrak and had paid for the night before so I can check in and get to my room. The hotel said because I arrived late, my entire reservation had been canceled. I was told to wait until 1pm to see if a room became available. In the meantime the front desk “accidentally” put an extra $900 charge on my card although I had paid for my stay through hotel.com. She was really rude when addressing her mistake and claimed it was for incidentals. The hotel.com receipt said only $170 was due at the hotel. I showed her the receipt and she kept getting louder and louder at me in front of other customers. I called hotel.com to let them know about the extra charge and my canceled reservation. They called the hotel and let me know my room was ready. When I went back to the front desk, they said they never told hotel.com our room was ready so we had to go back to waiting for a room. It was my first time in Savannah and not the best way to start my vacation.

The couple of young ladies at reception were fantastic, friendly and inviting. The room wa great, spacious and quiet. We do not eat breakfast ( intermittent fasting) But that didn’t stop us from having a stop at the bar for a nightcap.
