Overall I wasn’t impressed by my stay. The room was a good size, got a lot of good light and the towels and bed were soft. The staff we interacted with were very courteous and helpful. The main problem with our stay however was with getting our room serviced. It took asking 5 times for us to finally get housekeeping to come to our room. The first time they came by for normal service, we had the “do not disturb” sign up and housekeeping texted saying they would service the room if we let them know we were out. I texted the room was free and the sign down. We left for the day, and came back about 4 hours later and the room hadn’t been touched. We went back out, asking the front desk to have our room serviced. We returned a few hours later, still no service. We went to the front desk, and they said they would get right on it and it would be done immediately. We left again for over an hour, and when we came back it still had not been touched. I called the front desk and went back down again to say something. They came back saying that our room had the “do not disturb” sign on the door and that’s why it wasn’t done, but had they sent someone by the room, they would have been able to see the sign wasn’t on the door. It was incredibly frustrating and I’m not sure where the disconnect was but it certainly did not get our trip off to a good start.
