The Space:

Introducing our new home:

Savannah’s Historic Jones Street was penned America’s most beautiful street by Southern Living in 2016.

With it’s 200 year old cobblestones & historic row-houses, on the corner of Jones & Habersham Streets, stands Savannah’s most iconic Post Modern home. Designed & built by local architect Jerry Lominack, the recently renovated home features abstract cylindrical & rectangular forms, steeply sloped copper roofs & massive windows.

On the Habersham Street side of the home are 2 attached condos with equally clean lines, a contemporary façade & private entrances.



We welcome you to The Haven on Habersham.



Stepping into The Haven 344, guests are met with a sophisticated interior full of natural daylight. The home & attached condos were completely renovated in 2022 by international design firm, Plum Design West. The home is well-curated, crisp and adorned with hues of gold, blue & pink scattered in neutral textiles and bespoke art.



Guests enter on the middle floor of the 3-story condo. The fully updated galley kitchen is on the right with marine blue subway tile, solid surface countertops & stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked with all one needs to whip up a stay-at-dinner or reheat your local takeout.



Next guests enter the dining room with a table made of glass on a Danish wood base with gray leather chairs. Here you can sip your morning coffee while plotting your Savannah-must-see list! Just beyond is the light-filled reading salon with white sofa & chairs for folks seeking solitude or conversation spots. The far wall of glass is open to your private balcony that overlooks the lower walled courtyard.



Up one flight of stairs are 2 bedrooms & a full bathroom. One bedroom has a king bed with a smart TV & the other bedroom has a queen bed, but no TV. Both bedrooms are sleek yet comfortable with new mattresses, luxury linens & lots of light! The newly renovated bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower with a waterfall showerhead, a hand-held sprayer & sliding glass door.



Going down to the ground floor is the large, comfy TV room with a huge sectional sofa. A soft place to lounge for TV time but also the place for 2 guests to sleep on the queen fold-out sofa. This floor also has a full bathroom with a large walk-in shower & plenty of counter space to spread out your cosmetics.



That isn’t the end of the tour! This being the floor for gathering & entertainment, just outside the glass door is your private, contemporary walled courtyard where you can share cocktails & memories. Listen for the Savannah soundtrack of horses’ hooves, church bells and an occasional ships’ horn.



The Haven 344 offers comfort & sophistication with multiple gathering spaces, yet close to all the historic sites of Savannah!



NOTES:

Minimum age to reserve is 25 years of age. No exceptions.



DOG friendly with a non-refundable pet fee of $100. Only ONE dog (85 lbs max.) allowed. No cats due to allergy issues.



NOISE: This property is NOT PARTY friendly. We do not allow loud noise, music or parties of any sort. Violators WILL be evicted and/or fined. The City of Savannah requires strict observance of QUIET TIME between 10 pm and 8 am.

PARKING: Street parking in front of our home on Habersham Street is FREE.

Location was EXCELLENT! Close to the FREE bus line and very walkable to everything in the Northern Historic district and the local grocery story. The coffee maker didn't work so had to use the Kerig machine in the cupboard. Silverware could be changed out it looked really old, other than that I would stay there again.

Location location location Very nice place - perfect for three or four. It is cold downstairs on a cold night even with the extra heater. Kitchen fully stocked and house nice and clean and mod. We picked this because of its location away from the party streets but very walkable to all the shops and restaurants. I would recommend.

The home was very nice. The lower level has inadequate heating and it was too cold to be down there. I went down there to use the shower and with the snow it was too cold to use. We had to take turns using the upstairs bathroom.

Nice unit, and location and location is convenient to all of Savannah. While it’s renovated it’s very basic, but clean. We missed in the listing that there was only one bedroom on the level with the bedrooms. The other full bathroom is two levels lower. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Street parking was very easy. If the unit had en-suite bathrooms we would rent again, but if that’s not an issue then we would recommend saying here.

A couple little things were odd like no where to put your shampoo/soap in the bathroom! lol Balcony looked a little unsafe with some cracking wood. Front door needed a little maneuver of pulling on the handle at the same time you punched in the code in order to get it to open. All small issues! Great spot otherwise. Would stay there again for sure. thanks!

It was a very nice condo, but it was definitely showing some wear that was not apparent in the photosEspecially the outdoor patio, the furniture was covered with mold and so were the walls. Additionally, there was only one hairdryer when the bathrooms were two floors apart. There were no instructions on how to work any of the TVs and we were never able to watch any news stations or any other regular television.The location was very nice and it was close to anything in the historic district, which was a real plus.

We loved this place! The location was perfect- you could walk everywhere. Parking was always easy on the street out front and it was a nice quiet block. Fresh Spot

The property had ample space and was an easy walk to all there is to see in Savannah. The house was stocked with all the necessities. It had a modern charm and was different from what we usually stay in. The area was quiet and safe. The only negative was the downstairs couch and bedding throughout the house did not smell fresh. There was also dirty blankets and pillows in ground floor closet, we used our own blankets.
