Just Nope

I called ahead to find out if there was a shuttle from the hotel. She said no and then hung up on me. When I arrived at the same woman was behind the counter and she was irritable and rude. It was a clunky check in and she was dismissive. When I got to my room it was supposed to be non-smoking and it smelled like smoke. The bathroom drain was filthy and getting to the room was confusing without a map.

A/c units leaked. I had to get a new room because it was not clean. Second one also had hair sheets had stains. No ice machine. It was quiet. They need toclean better.

Had a weather issued that prevented me from driving and they kept my money…someone who represented their country and never had a request for an emergency issue. Will never select this hotel and I travel to Savannah often to see my dad. It was last minute…I reserved my room and my disability caused me trouble driving there…very disappointed! Don’t say you support the customer because you don’t?

The property looks "meh" and a little old/dated, area looks lower middle class, so don't expect a ton of dining/shopping choices or a beautiful area. There is a Publix nearby and few small shopping centers Our room inside looked clean and refreshed. The sheets felt soft and newer and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. We had a non smoking & smelled no odors of any kind. (A big plus for me!) We had a decent size mini fridge with tiny freezer inside, TV, clock, coffee maker with coffee/cups. there was also a comfy swivel chair with small end table, which was a nice addition. We were there 2 nights and had the complimentary breakfast the first morning. The offerings were Belgian waffles, thinly sliced bacon powder tasting eggs, 3 cereals to choose from, coffee with sugar and liquid creamer, 4 different juices and milk/other options in the little fridge along with butter, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast and bagels. It was a decent little breakfast buffet, I would not recommend the eggs though. Not a fan of powdered eggs The staff I encountered were nice and polite as well. My only complaint was the smell of marijuana. Sometimes when the A/C kicked on we could smell it come in from outside.

Great welcome staff. Filthy bedroom carpet. - see photo. No water at breakfast reason given was the water dispenser broken. At front desk a man told me I could buy water then walked away. Had to get water out of bathroom. They had ice dispensers available and water in the kitchen so why did I have to get a drink from the bathroom? Breakfast food good!

Welcoming staff wonderful. When I washed my feet after walking on the carpet the wash cloth was black in areas. No water at breakfast. A man at the desk said the water dispenser was broken. Said I could buy it & walked away. I got it out of the bathroom. They had an ice machine and water in the kitchen. Unacceptable service! Breakfast food very good.

Not a Senior accommodating motel

I had forgotten that I stayed here some years ago, visiting. I had to call the Health Department due to the severe black mold. And the lobby does not look like the picture anymore. I entered the room and it appeared fairly clean. The upholstered chair had stains though it was cleaned. the bed looked inviting just needed a step. I'm 5'8" and the top of the bed almost reached my butt which made it very hard to get up on. And once I got on.it was very uncomfortable. The bathroom; the commode barely reached my knees and there are no grab bars in the shower. To make matters worse, as I was packing my bag the male foreign attendant entered my room! It was just before check out time. Fortunately, I was dressed. I was upset and I did let him know it. He said, "I knocked," and I said "go away!" Not going back again. This used to be a very nice place and popular place to go for business meetings. family reunions and even a popular night club called Doubles back in the 80's. The change in ownership has brought this establishment down.
