The gravelled driveway provides parking for two cars, and on arrival you are sure to be delighted by the spacious garden overlooking rolling fields and attracting wildlife such as rabbits and deer. There is plenty of seating outside as well as a luxurious hot tub and barbecue, perfect for entertaining of an evening.

Cloughton has two friendly local pubs just a short stroll away. A little further along is Hayburn Wyke, a woodland walk with a waterfall cascading over the cliff top onto a secluded cove. There is an 18th-century coaching inn here, serving hearty meals as well as tasty desserts. Why not treat yourself to some food after a busy day of exploring? The Cleveland Way and the Cinder Track are scenic walking trails nearby, taking in Ravenscar and Robin Hood’s Bay on the way towards the seafaring town of Whitby.

The North Yorkshire Moors National Park has some delightful little villages amongst the vast stretches of heather strewn hills and valleys. There is also the ancient Dalby Forest which has brilliant cycle and walking trails to be explored.
