Upstairs are three beautifully presented bedrooms - a kingsize bedroom with its en-suite shower, a double bedroom and a kingsize bedroom boasting fabulous, elevated views over the park and lake through the trees from the huge bay window. With the best views in the house, it offers a selection of games as well as crafting materials where you can have some fun. Neighbouring Peasholm Park has stunning gardens, lakes, and waterfalls. A haven for wildlife including birds and squirrels. There are boats and pedalos, and a brass band to entertain you in summer. The park is famous for the Naval Warfare Battle where model ships re-enact a battle on the lake. Nearby is Alpamare water park, with slides and wave pools for children, plus a spa for a day of indulgence for the adults, there is also the open-air theatre with its fabulous line-up of chart-topping bands and iconic artists. Close by you’ll find a miniature steam train and the historic water splash boat, delighting visitors since the 1930s!

The town is within walking distance and has lots of boutiques, and for those who prefer the nightlife, there are plenty of bars, restaurants, clubs, and a casino. Scarborough benefits from two bays; the South Bay is a traditional seaside resort with donkeys, amusements, and shops, whereas the North Bay, a few minutes walk away from the house, is quieter and more relaxed. At the far end of North Bay is the Sea Life Centre where you can walk through an underwater tunnel and see the rescue seals. Halfway between the two bays, the castle stands proudly on the cliffs above. Further down the coast are Filey, Flamborough and Bridlington and up north are historic Whitby. Beach ½ mile.
