Scenic Mountain & River View – Walk to New River

The house offers a beautiful escape from city life. Located in the New River National Park and Preserve, Meadow Creek is an outdoors person paradise. The New River is visible from the front porch and a quick 3-minute walk. This property will sleep your whole gang! If your coming to fish the New River or just getaway, our little house is perfect!



Meadow Creek, a short walk away, is stocked with trout throughout the year. Meadow Creek is located about 30 minutes from Beckley, Lewisburg, and 15 minutes from Historic Hinton 



The house is located near train tracks. You will hear the train blow it's horn as it goes by. If you are a light sleeper - we wouldn't recommend the house. For some, they love to watch and listen to the trains. 



We do not have city water in our area.  The house is on a well system. The water is perfectly safe and you may see iron residue. Most folks, including ourselves, don't like to drink it. So we provide plenty of bottled water for our guests. 



You have the whole house for you and your guests.  We do live next door and are available as needed. If not needed, we leave you to yourself. 



GPS does not work very well in our area. Trust us - we see customers that are taken about 20 minutes out of their way when they rely on GPS. Please follow the directions in the listing.
