Welcome to our much-loved Ambleside Lodge, a peaceful lakeside staycation we are delighted to share with you. A beautiful open plan space, sleeping up to six guests, with two bedrooms and a sofa bed. Set on the quiet location of Sunset View at Seven Lakes Country Park. Our lodge is surrounded by three beautiful lakes, scenic walks, winding trails, quiet picnic spots, wildlife and 10 fishing lakes. We’re also ideally located for families with younger children — close enough to enjoy the lake views, yet not directly lakeside.

✨ Step through the side entrance into a bright, spacious open-plan living space designed for comfort and relaxation. The lodge opens into a modern kitchen, dining, and living area, thoughtfully laid out and perfect for spending quality time together.

🥐 The fully fitted kitchen includes kitchen utensils and crockery, an oven, microwave, gas hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, and kettle, with generous worktop space for preparing meals.

🫖 Complimentary tea, coffee, and sugar are provided for a welcoming start to your stay. From the kitchen window, enjoy peaceful views across the lake.

🍴 The dining area features a table and chairs for four, ideal for shared meals or evening games.

🛋️ The living room is cosy yet spacious, featuring two comfortable double sofas, one of which converts into a double sofa bed, along with a footstool and a charming fireplace with a cosy electric fire. Unwind with the Smart TV after a day of exploring.

🌅 Large double patio doors open directly onto the decking area with table and chairs, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor living space.
The decking is also full wrap around secure.

Off the hallway, you’ll find three doors leading to:

The lodge is just a 5-minute walk to the on-site café, restaurant, bar, and watersports lake.

We’re also ideally located for families with younger children — close enough to enjoy the lake views, yet not directly lakeside.

🚗You have parking directly outside the property for one car. Additional parking is further down.

🎣FISHING
During your stay you have whole access to the 10 fishing lakes on the site.
A fishing pass must be purchased at the main reception at the cost of £7.50 per day or £35.00 for the week. Please remember to bring your rod license.
Directly begin our lodge is a large award winning carp lake with plenty of pegs and spaces to fish, night fishing is allowed on this lake.
