Chasa Sampuoir: a cottage feeling and modernity in the 4.5-room maisonette flat

The flat of about 88m2 on two floors is located in the former mill of Ardez. On the modern renovated first floor there is the open kitchen and the living/dining area, a bedroom with double bed and a bathroom/WC. The wind-protected terrace with beautiful views of the mountains and forests opposite can be reached from the living room. Two further bedrooms and a small shower/WC are accessible via a steep staircase. These cosy rooms are located under the roof and are kept in the original cottage style.



The house is in a very quiet location a little outside the village on the little road to picturesque Ardez-Sur-En, the main filming location in the Schellenursli film, which is only inhabited in summer. From the living room/terrace you have a wonderful view of the Lower Engadine Dolomites and the special forests of the Lower Engadine. Shopping facilities and the post office are in the village centre (approx. 800m away). Salsiz, Landjäger or Natura Beef meat can be purchased directly from the nearby Naturhof Campell.



In the same house there is also a 1.5 room holiday flat and a cosy studio. Both flats and the studio can also be rented together - an ideal option for larger families/generational holidays.



Ardez train station is 650m away and can be reached on foot in approx. 10 min. The skiing area Motta Naluns can be reached by car in 5 min via Ftan and by train in 10 min via Scuol. Ardez has a night cross-country skiing track which can be reached on foot in approx. 15 min. The neighbouring village of Ftan also has the 8.5 km long Dario Cologna cross-country ski trail. The access road is cleared regularly in winter, however, depending on snowfall and road conditions, snow chains or 4×4 drive are an advantage. A pick-up service from the train station can be organised.



In summer, the entire Lower Engadine is ideal for beautiful hikes, whether short or long. Popular is the hike from Ardez over a suspension bridge to Tarasp and then to Scuol or to Murtera d'Ardez, another film location in the Schellenursli film. In addition, the Swiss National Park is also nearby.
